Story
Ivy is an adorable small-breed puppy looking for a family that's ready for all the fun—and responsibility—that comes with raising a puppy. Like all young dogs, this little one will need continued training, structure, patience, and plenty of socialization to grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. Puppies thrive with consistency, regular exercise, and opportunities to explore the world in positive ways. At this young age, frequent potty breaks, supervision, and guidance are essential, so a home where someone is available at least every two hours is important. If you're ready to invest the time, love, and commitment a puppy deserves, Ivy could be the perfect addition to your family. Fill out a questionnaire and a volunteer will be in touch.

Story
Bowser is 20-pound pup who is ready to find an active family to call his own. Whether it's a morning walk, a hike, or a weekend adventure, he'll happily be by your side. After the fun is over, he's just as content to curl up on the couch for some well-earned cuddles. His foster mom describes him as smart, eager to learn, and highly food motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. He enjoys working with his people and loves having a job to do. Bowser will thrive in a calm home in a quiet neighborhood with experienced adopters who can provide structure, consistency, and continued positive reinforcement. He is looking for an adult-only home, or one with older, dog-savvy teens, where his boundaries will be respected. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share both your adventures and your downtime, Bowser may be the perfect match.

Story
Jada and Theo's story began with heartbreak, but we're determined to help them write a much happier ending. These precious puppies were abandoned in a metal crate during the heat of August, left to fend for themselves. Thankfully, they were rescued and are now safe at The Milo Foundation Sanctuary, where they are receiving the love and care they deserve. Despite such a difficult start, Jada and Theo haven't let it dampen their spirits. They are incredibly sweet, affectionate 4 month old puppies who love people, enjoy playing with toys, and have all the fun, curious energy you'd expect from young pups. Their adorable little pug-like faces are impossible to resist! Because they've only been with us for a short time, we're still getting to know each of their unique personalities. Every day they become more confident, playful, and trusting, and we can't wait to watch them continue to blossom in a forever home. At four months they are still fairly small - Likely be a on the smaller medium size full grown. To learn more or to schedule a time to meet Jada and Theo, please call 707-459-4900.

Story
Meet Nellie! She is a playful, sweet-natured pup, who loves having her belly rubbed! She has enough energy for a long walk, but is also quite happy to chill at home with her people. She has been doing well learning her basic commands with the help of her wonderful foster family. Foster notes: Crate Training: She now sleeps reliably through the night in her crate and will sleep in it for up to two hours during the day. Nellie doesn't really like going into her crate during the day. She still shows some separation anxiety. House Training: She now signals that she needs to go out by sitting at the front or back door. She takes herself out to the garden when the door is open. We don't have a doggy door. Commands & Manners: She knows "sit," "down," "drop," and "stay." Her door manners are also very good. Leash & Socialization: She walks nicely on the leash unless spooked. She is learning to stop and sit at corners. She is initially shy around other dogs but will warm up to them and sniff provided they are not aggressive or too excited; she is not reactive. She also socializes well with our neighbor's older Doberman. Car & Environment: She will now ride in the car, though she is still reluctant to get in and glad to get out. Her tolerance for loud noises has improved. She is much better with passing cars, bikes, strollers, trucks and people getting in and out of their vehicles. People: She is initially shy with new people and kids but is fine with them once she's had time to warm up. She did fine at a recent BBQ. Nellie has visited our neighbors' houses and has been fine. In the Home: Nellie is quiet; she only alerts at the door and the gate to the garden. She's fine with household noises like the vacuum cleaner and hair dryers. She can sit and stay at doorways. She very rarely jumps on the furniture and comes off when corrected. She still dislikes televisions, but she moves herself to a spot where she can't see the screen. She is fine with music and the sound of television. Nellie is a fun sweet little dog who loves being with her people. She loves to bury things in and outside and enjoys scent games. She also loves fetch and tug and will do just about anything for cheese. If this sweet, affectionate girl seems like a great fit for your family, apply today to meet her!
