🐷💕 Welcome Miss Piggy! 💕🐷 Sometimes all it takes is the right person seeing the right dog at the right moment. Miss Piggy found herself as an unclaimed stray at a facility that was running dangerously low on both time and space. As kennel populations climbed, her situation became increasingly urgent. When we learned about this spotted little cow of a girl, we knew we had to try to help. And just like that, the universe did its thing. A foster stepped up and said “yes” to the adorable black-and-white meatball who was running out of options. No shelter dog should have their future determined by a lack of kennel space, and thanks to her foster, Miss Piggy’s story is headed in a much different direction. We have a feeling this chunky little moo cow is going to fit right in around here. All good things from here!

This little Boston Terrier mix lives life full throttle—zooming through the yard like he’s racing in the Indy 500, making pit stops in imaginary swamps with Shrek, and embracing every muddy, joy-filled moment along the way (bonus points if you don’t mind getting a little dirty with him). Ian is a young, playful pup with a heart as big as his personality. He came into rescue with a shattered hip that has since healed, leaving him with an adorable “wonky” gait. When he runs, his back leg sometimes flails out to the side—but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. If anything, it just makes him even more unforgettable. Personality & Play Style: Ian is a social, toy-loving goofball who thrives on fun. He always has a toy in his mouth—seriously, always. He’ll take them outside, bring them back in, and politely “check” them at the door until you hand them back. He loves playing with other dogs, especially games of chase and keep-away. After playtime, Ian enjoys winding down with his favorite toy and appreciates a little personal space during his chill time. Because of this, he’d do best with a laid-back, respectful dog companion—especially one around his size or slightly smaller who won’t bother him when he’s relaxing. ✨ WELCOME MISS VICKI ✨ We have questions. Mainly, where are all these furry Frenchies coming from and why do they all look like tiny Ewoks? Miss Vicki arrived at DuPage County Animal Services as a stray and immediately had us doing a double take. If you remember Nikusha, you’ll understand why. These two could be twins separated at birth. Same fuzzy face. Same adorable gremlin energy. Same “I may have just wandered out of the forest village on Endor” vibe. You may remember Geyser - the long-term stray who spent far too much time waiting at Chicago Animal Care and Control CACC Dogs for someone to notice him. His foster parents decided he needed a roommate, a sidekick, a partner in crime, if you will. Enter Miss Vicki. We’re pretty sure Geyser has no idea what just happened, but suddenly there’s a tiny furry Frenchie in his house and we’re here for it. We can’t wait to learn more about this adorable little oddball.
