Story
Meet this sweet Boston Terrier mix girl — about 6 years young and ready to find her forever family. 💕She started her journey as a stray in Memphis, but her life has taken a wonderful turn, and she’s now safe and cozy in foster care in Massachusetts. Her foster mom says she’s truly a dream houseguest. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and sleeps peacefully through the night in her crate — though she’d happily trade that for a spot in your bed if you let her. She loves sitting right next to her people on the couch and is a total cuddle bug, always ready for snuggles and quiet companionship. This lovely girl has that perfect mix of gentle affection and easygoing charm. She’s content being close to you, soaking up attention, and just enjoying life by your side.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s past the puppy chaos and fully embracing the cozy chapter of life, she might be your perfect match. 🐾💗Name: TrixieBreed: Boston Terrier/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 6 years (estimated)Weight: 31.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: NegativeMicrochipped: YesMedical: Trixie is scheduled for a dental cleaning, which will be done prior to adoption.BASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS: Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: It is believed she is not good with cats, but not confirmed.Adoption Fee: $450.00 $100 Additional Fee for Massachusetts Residents - mandatory quarantine fee.Location of dog currently: MassachusettsIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England. If you would like to apply to take VINCEN home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Vince is a super shy boy, he came from a hoarding situation so he’s very used to other dogs and cats, but his experience of the world has been very little so everything is a pretty daunting right now, he’s going to need a patient, quiet home that will teach him like is ok and there is nothing to be afraid of, time and patience are the key words here, a quieter home would be best, if you have a super social household with lots of people in and out or young kids that can be noisy, he’s not for you. The rewards of becoming the best friend and trusted companion for a dog like this are huge, he’s just needs someone willing to put in a little work and lots of love, it’s got to come from your heart. Story
If you would like to apply to take DIESEL home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. This little one came from a hoarding situation, we are estimating to be somewhere between 1-2 years old. Being taken out of that situation when it’s all you’ve ever known is a bit of an adjustment, they have just gone into foster homes, and with patience they have come out of their shells and are adjusting well, into a normal life. None of the dogs were nippy, just nervous. With this in mind we would recommend no small children or hectic households. They are all used to other dogs and a confident doggy companion in the home would be great. This little one has made great progress since joining us, showing much more affection and we can tell feeling generally happier now than when they first got to us. Little shy still? Yes , but making great progress!

Story
If you would like to apply to take AURORA home, click the link next to their picture, or Visit our website at Www.godogsgorescue.org and fill out an application! We look forward to hearing from you. Aurora is around 3-4 years old and Ariel is around 1-2 years old, they could even be mother and daughter. They both came from a hoarder situation and haven’t seen much of the world until now, both are a little shy but learning to trust and adjust to new experiences. We are looking for a quiet home for them, no young kids or busy noisy households, they could be adopted together or separately, but both seem to do better in the company of another dog. Aurora is slightly more shy than Ariel.

Story
Ella has mastered the art of the Boston Terrier expression — equal parts curious, determined, and just a little bit dramatic. Small in size but huge in personality, this little lady makes sure she’s the main character wherever she goes and has absolutely no intention of blending into the background. At 11 years young, Ella is a bright, affectionate companion who forms strong bonds with her people and loves being involved in whatever you’re doing. Whether she’s following you from room to room, supervising your daily routine, or settling in for some well-earned snuggle time, she simply wants to be near her person. Ella is also one smart cookie. She knows sit, lay down, and spin, and she isn’t shy about reminding you when it’s time for snacks — she firmly believes treats are a love language. Playful, alert, and engaged, she still has plenty of pep and enjoys short bursts of fun followed by cozy downtime. Like many seniors, Ella has a few ongoing health needs that we are actively managing. She will benefit from a guardian who can provide a little extra TLC, and our team will be happy to share more about her care and what that may involve. What matters most is that Ella’s spirit is full of life, love, and devotion — she’s ready to give her whole heart to someone special. Ella would be happiest in a calm home where she can soak up attention, enjoy a predictable routine, and be the one-and-only pet in her person’s world. In return, she’ll offer constant companionship, daily entertainment, and the deep, loyal bond that only a truly devoted dog can give. If you’ve been hoping for a small dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Ella just might be your perfect match. If you’re interested in Ella, we welcome you to visit our Animal Care & Adoption Center in Middletown, RI to meet her in person, call us at 401-846-8276, or learn more at www.potterleague.org.
