Story
Meet Opal, a young female Boxer with a heart as big as her journey! Opal's story began on the streets of Tijuana, where a heartbreaking picture of her Emaciated and covered in ticks found its way to us. Homeless and struggling, we knew we had to bring her to safety. Once here, we immediately took her to the vet for bloodwork and a 4DX test to check for any tick-borne diseases. Everything came back negative, and her blood work is perfectly normal! We were thrilled! Fast forward a couple months, Opal was on medical status as we worked on slowly gaining weight and building her strength. During her Spay appt, she almost died on the table and it was found that she did in fact contract 2 Tickborne Diseases! She had contracted Erlichia and Anaplasmosis. We cured the tickborne diseases and her blood platelets were damaged. So she has been battling Immune Mediated Thrombocytopenia, going every two weeks for routine blood draws and medicine. During the vet visits, we also discovered that Opal is deaf, but that doesn't stop her from being the sweetest, most affectionate dog. She adores being with her humans and thinks she's a lap dog-she'll cuddle up with you any chance she gets! Opal is looking for a loving home where her new family will enjoy her goofy loving personality! If you're ready to be part of Opal's journey and give her the second chance she deserves, please complete our adoption application, and we'll be in touch soon. Let's give this sweet girl the happy ending she's been waiting for!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Fred! Fred and Ethel were found running around a neighborhood in San Bernardino. A friend of Cause for SB Paws took them in and asked us to help find them a good home.Fred is such a sweet mushy face! He looks part Boxer and maybe part Pitbull/Staffie. He is good with other dogs, cats unknown. Because he is a big teenager (still a baby at only one year-old), he's probably best in a home with no small children, only because he could knock them over in his playful excitement. He would be a great dog for someone looking for a playful hiking buddy. It would be amazing if Fred and Ethel could be adopted together, but they can be protective over each other, so adopting separately probably works out better anyway! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Chuck - the miniature boxer mix with a goofy grin and a heart pure of sunshine! Chuck chose his landing spot wisely - he wandered into the yard of one of our fosters with a heart of gold, and from that moment on, his life took a beautiful turn. Now this sweet, happy boy is ready for a forever family of his very own. Chuck is a young pup who truly looks like a mini boxer - same adorable face, same joyful energy...just fun-sized! We're not exactly sure what his mix is, but at about 37 pounds, he's the perfect "not too big, not too small" companion. He may fill out just a smidge, but we don't expect him to get much larger. This boy is pure goodness. He's sweet, playful, and wonderfully goofy in all the best ways. Chuck gets along with dogs of all sizes and absolutely loves having canine friends - though he's just as happy soaking up affection from his humans if that's what's available. Wherever the love is, Chuck is there! He's the kind of dog who will wiggle his way right into your heart and stay there. Chuck is simply an all-around great pup looking for his forever people to bond with, grow with, and adore for life. If you've been searching for a loyal buddy with boxer-style charm in a compact package...Chuck might just be your perfect match. If you're interested in meeting this adorable kiddo, please fill out our application here. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 2, 2026, 12:57 am
