I rescued Poppy from the shelter at four months of age as she was exposed to distemper virus and was going to be euthanized. Poppy miraculously survived distemper and has neurological sequelae like muscle spasms and intermittent pressure sores. She needs a loving home with special attention to her medical needs. Currently in a young, multidog household which is too rambunctious for her delicate body. She is expressive with her eyes and nudges gently for attention and physical affection. She gets along well with other dogs though tends to get run over by the current pack due to her weakness.

A friend of Cause for SB Paws took them in and asked us to help find them a good home.Fred is such a sweet mushy face! He looks part Boxer and maybe part Pitbull/Staffie. He is good with other dogs, cats unknown. Because he is a big teenager (still a baby at only one year-old), he's probably best in a home with no small children, only because he could knock them over in his playful excitement.
