I am timid and shy at first but once I warm up, we will be besties for life.I CANNOT be in a home with any cats or little animals. I usually do well with other dogs, but my mom adopted a dog and brought him home and she thinks we fight because of littermate syndrome. So, it would be nice if I could be the only doggy in the house, but not required. I’m up to date on all of my shots and I’m spayed too. Nala joined our family from OC Animal Care when she was approximately 4 years old. We immediately fell in love with her and her gentle heart. When we brought her home, she was extremely timid and cautious but within a few weeks she became an energetic and stubborn for love dog. She acclimated very well with our 9 year old boxer at the time and took care of him until his recent passing at almost 13 years old. So for 3 1/2 years they ran the household and welcomed my daughter's two cats. Though Nala was cautious at first, she always wanted them in sight of her. We recently lost our oldest boxer and Nala has felt the emptiness as we all have. Additionally, our family has unfortunately broken apart and I can no longer give her the time and companionship she deserves, as I am alone. Nala has been a joy and her eyes make it undeniable to love her. Now at almost 8 years old and having undergone two households, we really want her third home to be her forever home.
