Story
Hardy is a lover of his person. He was pulled from a kill shelter in North Carolina and by the third day he had already formed an attachment to "mom". He was underweight when pulled from the shelter so we are working to help him gain wait. He has started learning sit and down and has almost mastered these commands. He is dog selective and walks very well on a leash. Please email nchappytailssanctuary@gmail.com for more information. We do require an adoption application, however we are a non judgmental rescue.

Story
Meet Echo! This sweet goofball is deaf, and he is searching for his forever family. Echo wanted us to let you know that he enjoys playing, napping, and snacking. Echo is still working on his crate-training. He gets sad when people leave him, but he is making strides every day! He wanted us to let all of you know that he would love to live somewhere with a yard, but that's not a deal breaker for him. Echo is very smart, and despite being deaf, basic training is going great! Echo is dog-friendly but plays too rough for feline friends. Echo will need someone who understands that he requires patience as he is a nervous dog and has to learn how to trust new people. Echo's Adoption Fee is sponsored by the Phillips family in memory of their beloved Gus who was also deaf.

Story
Hey! This is my pitbull mix Mocha. She is one year old and very high energy. Mocha is very smart and an incredible sweet baby. Im having trouble listing her because she has recently became food and toy aggressive, making it hard to get along with my other dogs. She typically loves other dogs and cats, however I believe her attitude is from not being spayed yet. She is house trained, kennel trained, and knows many tricks (sit, shake, boop, lay down, spin, and kangaroo)! I amm looking for a good home for her, with someone who will spay her and possibly be an only dog.

Apollo is very sweet I got him with his sister at the time. I wasn’t aware of Literamate syndrome and having to keep them separate has been very difficult. He is very sweet and energetic, haven’t been able to train him much but he can sit and uses BR on the puppy pad. Looking for someone that is going to care enough to train him to ensure he stays safe!
