Story
Hi, it's me Beans. I wanted to tell you about me thru the eyes of my foster mom. Beans is a great, super sweet, well behaved dog. He is housetrained, crate trained ( sleeps well in crate at night). He knows sit, is very treat motivated (but watch those fingers he really likes food). He likes to cuddle and be with his people. He also walks well on leash. He gets along with my older female dog ( but very slow introductions with any dogs is a must to have him adjust well, him or any new dog). We do not know how he is with cats or children at this time. He is an inside dog and should not be crated all day. He is a youngster and needs lots of exercise. An ideal home would be with a stay at home person. Rides very nicely in the car. He has been neutered, up to dates on all vaccines and microchipped. He is heartworm positive but please don't let heartworms deter you from taking him home, they are completely treatable and non contagious. Friends of Wake County Animal Center is generously providing a $400 sponsorship toward treatment. If you have any more questions about me you can email my foster mom at dogfosterkim@gmail.com Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 61.5 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
Halle Bailey is a coconut - hard on the exterior but sweet once she opens up. She is initially reserved and a bit skittish (strange noises and movements make her uncomfortable), but will become less tense given time and once trust has been built. Something in her past has led her to not be immediately trusting, so patience will be of utmost importance. Once that trust is built, she will make some human a very loyal companion.A volunteer took her home for a vun vacation. Halle Bailey was a wonderful guest. She sat in the office while the volunteer worked. She loves rope toys. She just laid on the couch and chilled. She seems like she might be potty trained. She was very respectful of the house. Was so gentle with the volunteer. She loved the car ride. Sat like a perfect lady. She was content just laying on the couch and playing with her rope toys and nyla bones. She also loved to play in the backyard. During a recent playgroup session, she was stiff and intensely stared down her playmates with no interest in playing; thus, the 'no other dogs' label. If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line " Halle Bailey 243684".She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between children at all times. Story
Reeve is a sweet, older gal who is working on getting her outside to be as beautiful as the inside!! She may look grumpy, however, Reeve is incredibly sweet!! Her little nubby tail is constantly wagging. Reeve is calm, well-mannered, and goes with the flow. She sleeps all night in her crate and has had no accidents in the house. She enjoys short walks around the neighborhood and never pulls on her leash. She hadn't met a meal she didn't like yet! She sits patiently for treats and shows no food aggression. Reeve enjoys snuggling on the couch and is fairly low energy. She currently shares the household with two dogs and two cats. No aggression with any! Reeve doesn't really seem to show any interest in other animals so she would do fine as an only dog. Reeve has been so sweet with everyone she has met, but a home with older children would be best, due to her age and energy level.
