Meet this incredible survivor! Found in Tipton County, this sweet boy was skin and bones, hairless, and overlooked by so many. We couldn’t leave him behind, and he’s come so far—from 17 to 36 lbs! With love, warmth, and plenty of food, his personality has blossomed. He adores other dogs, all people, his crate, and especially toys and sweaters. He’s house-trained, food-motivated, and ready for his forever home. Could it be with you? Once adopted he will travel via the Rescue Transport to his new family. They travel every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185. Luke is 7-8 years old, he was adopted from the franklin county animal shelter in 2024. We unfortunately have to re home him due to moving, as well as working most of the day and not being able to be home with him. Luke is crate trained, and knows basic commands. He can even give paw. He is mostly house broken only occasional accidents, due to not being let out on time.Luke’s favorite game is tug of war, he also likes to play fetch. he is very sweet, and just wants pets. his favorite treats are the peanut butter filled bones!Luke is shy at first, but the longer you’re around him she starts to show his goofy fun side. Luke does not do well with SMALL children, ages (0-7) he gets very nervous and anxious. He also does not like other large dogs, or cats. He does better in an adult environment, where he can be the focus and only pet.

Story
Bullet is a 6 year old pit mix, who was rescued in Texas, where he was found by a rescue in a cemetery. He lived with us in Oklahoma and was the sweetest pup. Our family was relocated after a military contract ended, which resulted in the home being packed up. After this, Bullet became reactive. Upon moving to Ohio, bullet did a 2 full week board and train to work on house skills and his reactivity. He continues to be reactive with others and pets. He bit a family member at this time- skin was not broke. He does not do well with cats (got into a fight with one) and does not do well with people. Once he is comfortable like he is with us, he is such a good boy and so sweet. However he is reactive towards our toddler and began to start lunging and deep barking at her. We want to keep her safe, as well as him. We’re looking for a home that can allow him to play, get his energy out (he is high energy!), and provide him love without having fears of him.
