Easy going, great with other dogs Buddy showed up at a Foster's property and came in, sat and then curled up on the foster. He's just an adorable loving dog! Someone took good care of him before he was dumped. We posted him everywhere no one showed. He is so wonderful!! He listens so well and has wormed his way into my home with all my babies. He’s amazing whoever gets this dog will have a best friend as long as he lives. We were lucky to be the ones to take him in Age: 2-3 years WT: 68lbs. Temperament: Good with respectful kids and dogs. Vetting: neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative. Chop entered Gwinnett Co shelter in early 2026 after his family was evicted and he was left behind in their former home. They never came to reclaim him, and he spent a few months at the shelter before entering our foster system. However, you would never know that anything bad had ever happened to his sweet, happy boy! Chop has proved to be very adaptable to new situations, and instantly befriends everyone he meets. He has a very gentle, friendly disposition and just wants to be where his people are. Chop is around 3-5 years old, and while he was a bit underweight at the shelter, he quicky got up to his ideal weight of 56 pounds in foster care. He seems like a bit of a simpleton on account of his goofy smile, but he picked up on basic commands very quickly and has done great with his crate training. This happy guy gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle, easygoing temperament. He is a bit of a velcro dog, and loves affection. While he hasn’t spent much time with kids that we know of, he shows no signs of reactivity or resource guarding and has a naturally soft, submissive personality that suggests he would do well in a family home. However, Chop does seem overly interested in cats and other small animals so he should not live in a home with them - he becomes very focused and will chase if they run. Chop is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and on prevention. He is ready for a home where he can just be part of the action, continue to learn and finally settle into the love and stability he deserves. Dexter is a sweet, goofy 9-year-old Boxer/Pit mix (65 lbs) who’s equal parts couch snuggler and fetch enthusiast. He loves people most of all and would happily trade solo toy time for a human throwing the ball instead—though he’ll entertain himself in a pinch. In a series of bad breaks...Dexter recently got a bit too enthusiastic during backyard ball time and perforated his eye. The vet said it had to go, so he's now got a permanent wink going on. Honestly? We think it makes him look even cuter! Meet sweet Frankie, a 5 yr old gorgeous precious boy who is looking for his forever family. Frankie is great with everyone he meets, 2 legs or 4 legs it doesn't matter.... even cats !! Frankie did not have a good life before rescue and was timid at first but quickly learned what love was and now he has plenty to share with you and ready to make you laugh with his silly personality. Frankie was very sick when he came into rescue. He was treated for heartworms but due to the length he had them before rescue it left damage to his heart. He is on medication now and is doing great !! His foster mom said that he acts like a pup now. Frankie wants me to tell y'all please don't let his heart condition deter you from adopting him, after all his heart is full of love and he has a lot of life to live and share with you. Forrest is a lovable 40 pound rescue. Great with all dogs and crate/house trained. He was apparently dumped and no one came forward to claim him. Forrest is in a loving foster home and one of his favorite things to do is run errands with his foster parents. So outing to dog parks or road trips will be the highlight of his day. Forrest will bring lots of love, joy and companionship. Forrest loves the company of other dogs big & small ! Very smart and has learned to sit for a treat. If you are ready to add some love and fun to your life, look no further. Each dog will have 2 distemper/ Parvo vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, be dewormed,be heartworm tested, and if positive will be treated with Immiticide and be spayed or neutered.
