Dallas is around 10 years old. She is a great companion and loves going on walks. She loves to take naps, lay in the sun and is great with kids. She doesn’t bark, much. I adopted her around 5 years ago but due to life changes I can’t keep her. She still has moments of being a puppy and loves to play.

To save the world through joy, laughter, and zoomies. He's already doing an excellent job spreading hope and giggles, delighting his foster folks and everyone he meets. He might be a mix of boxer, labrador, and pittie, and something smaller... but we're just guessing! Based on his size and age, we also guess he probably will grow to be under 40 lbs, the most wonderful size! One thing we do know for sure is that he is the sweetest and most affectionate little snuggle buddy you could wish for. Captain is absolutely crazy about people. Everyone is his best friend and deserves his delicate little kisses and snuffles. His wagging tail and wiggling butt are almost as adorable as his wonky smile and his big, floppy ears. End to end, this boy is all about the cute! Photos don't quite do Captain justice; you have to see this hero in action to appreciate just how goofy and adoring he is. When he's excited, he darts around like a ping pong ball, changing direction and flying recklessly through the grass. He picks up toys in those silly jaws of his and shakes them with such ferocity that he sometimes falls over! And when he's finished with his short bursts of energy, he is the most tender-hearted little cuddler. He wants to be near you, preferably leaning against you, giving and receiving love. Captain's love is not limited to humans. He's thrilled to play with, or just hang out with, other dogs. He's brave enough to play with his 45- and 60-lb foster brothers. Captain loves to be chased. If other dogs ignore him, he finds toys to show off and tries to tempt his canine companions into a game of tug or keep-away. This clown also likes to play like a kitten! A toy dangling at the end of a stick or a string is a fabulous plaything for him! He chases it in circles with determination and zeal. And, of course, Captain also loves squeaky toys and crinkle toys — any toy will do, and a bone to chew keeps him busy and happy. Captain spends most of his time sleeping, of course, like most young puppies do. He loves to sleep flopped on his person or snuggled against them. He also loves his fuzzy donut bed. At night, Captain sleeps 8 hours straight in his crate in a room with his foster family. Some nights he complains for about one minute that he doesn't want to go to sleep yet… and then zzzzzzzzzz, he conks out. Captain is proud to tell you that he's potty trained now. He LOVES praise, so he quickly learned to potty on command. He understands that outside is the right place for his business, and with frequent outings during the day he's a reliable house pal. Eager to please, he stops a behavior when he understands you don't like it. He's also very food motivated — he loves meal time so much that he spins in circles from the excitement! This food motivation has made him easy to train so far. Though he's just getting started in his new Pacific Northwest foster home, he already knows to run into his kennel at feeding time (with the "kennel up" command) after a few celebratory pirouettes. Meet Sockhop! The cutest kid in town with the best playful energy! He’s a growing boy and is motivated to learn all of the things! He is getting trained in his foster home to be the bestest friend ever! Did someone say crate trained?? Oh yeah! He is a stylish guy with socks on all 4 feet and rocks a bandana like no other! He is full of love and ready for his future family to find him! We believe Sockhop is a boxer mix around 6 months old and weighs approximately 35 pounds. He still has some room to grow and is sporting the best lanky limbs in this phase! Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But what we can’t guarantee in genetics, we can guarantee in love! This boy loved to be around every single person he met while he was visiting us and every single person loved to be around him! Due to his joy and love for an exciting play life, Sockhop will do best in a home that doesn’t have any cats. He didn’t try to continue being a ball of energy. He showed me that he knows how to balance his excitement and even offered to lay down on the couch with me. He was showing off his “sit” and “lay” and made it apparent that he will be the one to get an A+ in puppy training school. Beverly here has that classic sweet, smart, and sensitive combo that most all of us think of when we imagine our dream dog. I think my favorite thing about Beverly, besides her face but we will get to that, is how you can just see doesn’t need a packed calendar of adventures to be happy. This girl is here for the simple life- a comfy bed, a few walks, a few treats/toys, and a human or two to love. She has her priorities straight. Small-medium or medium-small, call it what you want but in my book she is perfectly petite. She won’t take up much space on the couch but she is aiming to fill your heart up with love. Beverly has been fortunate to wait for her adoption day in a foster home where she is learning all the best house skills. Her foster family shared that in the home, Beverly is easy. She’s quiet, crate-trained, fully housebroken, and loves to curl up nearby while you go about your day. She’s playful when the mood strikes—especially if there’s a ball to chase—but she’s mostly a laid-back, easy-going kind of girl. She’s great in the car, doesn’t bark unless there’s truly something worth alerting you about, and has even been around young grandkids (ages 2–4) who she has been gentle and calm with. She takes treats gently and knows how to sit and “place,” especially when there are snacks involved—she’s very food motivated and eager to learn. Beverly would thrive in a home or apartment with an individual, couple, or family that is somewhat active but balances that out with chill couch sessions. She is not here for chaos and she won’t be the one to bring it. Her foster family did share the t Beverly is quiet the gazelle and can jump really high. She has never tried to hop a fence but is worth noting that she is capable of it so if a living in a home with a yard, a secure fence is encouraged. Beverly could easily be a family girl but has gotten a bit spoiled living in a home where the littles only visit. Basically, she has grand parent vibes down- the kids are welcome, she loves them most when they are just visiting and she loves the peaceful naps that come after they leave. Older kids are a different story, she enjoys the chill vibe that comes as they get a little older! A family with older kids would be great for Beverly, she is a perfect video game companion or a couch-cuddles. Beverly is dog-friendly and is well suited for and enjoys confident males who do not need constant interaction, but she could easily be a solo-dog. She doesn’t need a dog companion for her mental or physical well-being, she is here for the people. No kitties for Beverly though, she thinks they are exotic squirrels, and wants to get a close-up look and we all know cats do not enjoy an overly eager dog. *Fostered in Lowell, MA* Tootsie Pop is sweeter than her namesake and twice as cute! We believe Tootsie is a Black Lab, Boxer mix, though she is a rescue so these are simply our best guesses. Tootsie is estimated to be around a year old and weighs in at a slight 48 pounds, the perfect size for lap sitting. She loves toys, other dogs, people, and the pool! Her love of water must be from those black lab genes we see! Tootsie goes on daily walks with ease thanks to her amazing leash skills. Sweet Tootsie is nothing short of an all around good girl, and we can’t help but fall hard for her. You will too! She does well with everyone in the house- playful with the pups that wish to play, and respectful and kind toward the grumpier, older pups that wish for peace. Here at the rescue, she did wonderfully with the other dogs she met. Her joyful energy even got a rarely playful long-stay-rescue-dog to play chase with her! In her forever home, we think a goofy male would be the best doggy-sibling match for her. Her foster mom brags that she is crate trained and seems to be fully potty trained- she does not have accidents indoors. She does well in her crate and will go in for a little treat! Tootsie is super smart, she knows “sit” and she’s picking up on leash training quickly. She will need a confident leash walking human to teach her the ropes, she’s new to the whole “well loved dog” thing, but eager and excited to learn. A huge fan of the finer things in life, Tootsie loves all kinds of toys, no matter the shape size or color! Nylabones, stuffies, chews- you name it! She is a tug-of-war queen, as she should! As if she couldn’t get any better, she even shares her toys well with the other dogs in the home too. “Sharing is caring!” Says tootsie! While we haven’t seen Tootsie with kids just yet, we think she would be an amazing family dog for a home with kids 10+. She loves going places with her foster family, and has met kids at events and done well with them. From the moment you meet her, Tootsie is such a warm and friendly pup with so much love to give. She is so confident in new places, and always ready for the next adventure- now she’s ready for her forever home. We think Tootsie would do best in a house over an apartment. We believe she would enjoy a more active family that will take her places and spend time with her. We don’t recommend her for a home with kitties. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! I have such a special girl I am so excited to share with you all! Her name is Scarlett and she is the most perfect, gentle, sweet, pretty little pittie baby you’ve ever seen! Have you looked at those eyes? Omg angel status. She is a dog’s best friend and will make such a good addition to a family looking to add some sweetness to their life! Scarlett is a pittie mix of some sort who is around 2 years old and weighs approximately 50 pounds. Due to her being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But that’s what makes rescue the best! But due to her sweet demeanor and the way she got along so well with her foster’s other animals, she quickly became a long term foster family member. Scarlett is currently staying in a home with other dogs and cats and lives harmoniously with them all! This is great that she is already getting used to what life is like in a home when she gets adopted by her future family! I asked her foster what made Scarlett special and she had this to say “First, I wanted to keep her because after the first 12 hours, I realized how wonderfully sweet she is. She does great in her kennel and does not complain one bit. If you just sit down with her, she will approach you. She waits until night time to jump in the bed and lie down. With gentle pets she rolls over and soaks in every little pet. With even more time, she wants to play and engage. She shows her zoomies. She loves to play with other animals and seems curious about my cat but doesn’t go after him.” How precious is that? Scarlett is very dog friendly and would absolutely thrive in a home with multiple dogs. She meshes easily with all sorts of personalities and would do great in a home with medium energy dogs that enjoy playing but also know when it’s time to settle down. She is also cat tolerant and would do well in a home that has a dog savvy cat that doesn’t mind the occasional canine curiosity! She has spent a lot of time around kids and does great! She would do well with older children who understand how to properly care for a dog who takes a little while to open up to new people. Scarlett would love a dedicated family to continue her training to make her the absolute best companion she can be! Lay is a good & happy dog. Lots of energy. She is 3 years old and has not been fixed. We don't have any time to play with her or walk her and we're moving across the country and we cannot take her. She just needs a good home where she will get more attention.
