Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hey y’all, My name is Dolly Lu and I’m pretty sure I love you already!! I’m a 6 month old Boxer/Pointer X. I weigh about 30lbs and will likely grow to be 45-50lbs. I’m currently working on leash training, not jumping up when the humans get home (I get so excited) and the last thing, I’m really not proud of, but I should probably be honest if this is going to work.. I have a thing for socks I know, terrible, right? I promise I will get it under control Now moving on, I want y’all to know I’m House trained, doggy door trained, crate trained, I’m good with kiddos (one of my best friends is a 5yr old) &with other dogs, and I’m smart/treat motivated to learn quickly. I’m happy to go on adventures as well as chill out at home. Speaking of adventures, I’ve been going to the farmers markets with my foster mom and it’s been a great experience!! Anywho, I’m not a picky girl, I would love a family who will play with me, snuggle me as I’m thee best cuddle bug and maybe a family that has another doggy sibling to play with. I’m so ready for a place to call home and to build a companionship with my forever family, and if you think that could be you and would like to meet me then please apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 22, 2023, 9:36 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi I’m Whinnie! I’m 5-6 months old and believed to be a Boxer mix, maybe with some Great Dane. So I will be a big girl when I’m done growing!       I’m a pretty great puppy! But I am still a puppy so I have lots of energy, love to play and still need help knowing what is good and bad. I can be a bit of a couch hog, I have long legs and I love to stretch them out on a soft couch, but don’t worry I’m also a great cuddler!       Potty training is going great. I haven’t had any accidents but I also haven’t quite figured out how to tell you I need to go potty so I do need to go outside frequently.       I’m perfect in my crate, even if you’re up and moving around I have no problem just watching quietly from my crate. I easily sleep through the night and have made it through 7 hour work shifts with no accidents in my crate. I already know sit and down, walk pretty well on leash, but could definitely still use some more training there, and have gotten much better about jumping on people. You can reach your hand into my bowl while I eat and I don’t mind when other dogs are near me while I eat either and I take treats gently.       I’m also super friendly! I’m pretty sure every person wants to be my best friend, even on walks I want to say hi to all the people we pass, and I haven’t met a dog I didn’t love! But I am willing to tell a dog when they’re being too rough with me or coming on too strong but am still happy to be their friend. I can also be very vocal when I play so don’t be alarmed by my ferocious sounds! I also like to talk to you sometimes, to let you know when I’m super excited or really want something.        I’ve only met one cat so far but was very calm and respectful! Even though I’m super interested and really wanted to be friends when she said no I backed off easily.      I would love a family that will definitely continue my training and socialization so I can grow up to be the best girl possible! In return I will be your best friend, loyal companion, and adventure and snuggle buddy. Do I sound like a match for you? Story
This smiley and happy girl is Penny and her tail never stops wagging! Penny is a 2-3 year old Border Collie X Boxer mix and weighs about 36 pounds. She is a medium energy girl and loves playing with balls and sticks. She is also house trained, knows how to use a doggy door, and gets along well with the other dog in her foster home. She is very easy going, and will stare longingly and lovingly into your eyes. Penny is crate trained, but she is such a good girl she can be trusted left out in the house. Penny would love a family who will play with her in the daytime and cuddle with her on the couch in the evenings.Penny came to us with a right front leg fracture that did not receive medical attention at the time of the injury. Our trusted vets do not feel that surgery is necessary and Penny is still very active and does not let this slow her down! She is looking for an adoptive home that can offer her an active but balanced lifestyle, recognizing when she needs some downtime to rest. Penny will also need to be provided with supplements that support joint and bone health and will likely develop arthritis down the line as she ages and may need anti-inflammatory/pain meds from time to time. If you are looking for an extra loving girl who is looking for an extra loving family then please apply online at caws.org. Dogs are not placed on a first- come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. Thanks! If you are interested in adopting a CAWS pet, please fill out an online application at https://caws.org/adoption-applicationSeptember 22, 2023, 7:42 am

Meet Laika! https://youtu.be/PbqVh7KGJjI See why Meagan loves Laika: https://youtube.com/shorts/MY3yj1W-HMk?feature=share -FRIENDLY AND PLAYFUL - AFFECTION DRIVEN -POTTY TRAINED This ridiculously happy girl is going to be an absolutely BELOVED family member for some lucky home! Laika is approximately 2-3 years old and 59 pounds of smiles! This first time mom found herself alone and pregnant in January when a kind Houstonian took her in. After raising her 9 puppies, Laika is ready for a home of her own! Laika is good with dogs- Our evaluation team had 4 other dogs in the pen with her! Typically during pups' assessment we take it easy and start them out slowly with 1 or 2 dogs. No need to with Laika! She's just a social butterfly!! Laika is good with kids age 8+ and really adores her time with people big and small! Laika is fully Potty trained! She's a bit strong on a leash (so many things to smell!) So she'll need someone willing to help her improve her leash skills so she can comfortably accompany you everywhere you go! No problems with house training but she has a lot of energy so would do best with another dog. Currently fostered in Texas- Laika is hoping to be transport eligible soon June and on her way to the PNW! Don't miss out on this amazing girl! Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives!
