Story
Sweet, sweet Selma, the girl who loves everyone with enthusiasm, is ready for her forever home. Just look into those big brown eyes and your heart will be mush. With this cutie around, you will never feel lonely because she will want to be with you every chance she gets. We estimate Selma is about 1 year old and possibly a Boxer and Shepherd mix, but with rescue that’s just our best guess. She currently weighs around 50 lbs but her weight is still balancing back out after having puppies. She has been a wonderful mom to her sweet babies, but now she’s ready to enjoy the empty nest. A social butterfly through and through, she’s never met a human she doesn’t like. Yelling, crying, rambunctious kids? No problem! She is hungry for affection and is happy to get it from any human willing to dish it out. Kitties are no-go for this cutie. Selma is a bit unsure when meeting new doggy friends, but she warms up quickly. She doesn’t seem to have a lot of experience playing with other dogs, but she’s learning quickly in our play groups. She prefers to play one-on-one, or in small groups, rather than large groups. She could be happy as an only dog, or with a male doggy sibling who is either calm or moderately playful. Selma was found as a pregnant stray, and it appears she may have been a stray for a while. She is very eager to eat any food she can, and will try to steal food from the counter or your hands. She hasn’t learned to take treats gently yet. She is equally hungry for love and will jump up for affection. Can you blame a girl for wanting love and snacks? What girl isn’t hungry for love and snacks, really? Pretty easy on a leash, she’ll be great to take on walks. She does love to stop and smell the roses, and she would love to sniff every dog she passes too, but she doesn’t pull hard and is pretty easy to correct. She is potty trained and crate trained, although she may need a little patience learning a new environment. Selma is a very happy-go-lucky, pie in the sky kind of girl. She’s a little silly and incredibly affectionate. If you have endless love and snacks to give, she will reward you with all of her love and devotion. Apply now to bring this cutie home! Currently fostered in Texas, she is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to travel to their forever home in the PNW or NE areas. Story
Sadie is an absolute lady with a love of squeaky stuffies, tennis balls, and people! This amazing girl stole all our hearts with her ease and smiling face, we hope she reaches yours too! In rescue age and breed are details about a dog we can never know with 100% confidence but we believe Sadie is a boxer/lab mix and possibly 4-5 years old, weighing 40 lbs. Her face gives off an older look than her physical health and energy level show. Those details don’t speak to who Sadie is at her core though, this is a dog that only sees the goodness and reflects it right back. Everyone who met her commented that she “made my day” or “her happiness is contagious!” It was hard not be overwhelmed with a smile for seemingly no reason at all, no silly tricks or attention getters, just her company. She is something really special in this world and we can't even imagine how much more she will shine once she finds her forever family. Sadie’s easy-going nature can be seen in all her interactions- with other dogs she was friendly and content in their company, and with our house cat she was perfectly respectful. An ideal home for Sadie is one where napping is encouraged and dog-toys will be purchased. For a canine companion, Sadie would love an easy-going partner-in-chill and cats are welcome! Thanks to her calm and quiet nature, and size, Sadie would be a great fit for the apartment life or a house with a yard. All we think she absolutely needs is a family of her own and a home where she is loved! Sadie does have a mild case of dry eye in one of her eyes, which is eased with daily drops, and six-month supply is included in her adoption. Sadie is available for adoption now! The sooner you get her home the sooner the love can start flowing! The best days of Sadie’s life are ahead of her and she can’t wait to spend them with you! If you have any questions about Sadie or would like us to test her for a specific setting or detail, please be in touch! We can make most anything happen to ensure she is the correct fit for you and your life! Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, are you looking for that perfect friend that will watch all the TikToks you send them? Well, I may just be the girl for you. My foster mom has caught me watching her Tiktoks when she leaves her phone unattended and I somehow have figured out how to scroll. I also like to watch TV if it is something interesting. Although I sound like a couch potato I am not. I am only 8 months old so I still have some of that puppy energy left in me. I do enjoy running/zoomies in the backyard and chewing on toys as well. Playing with my foster brother is also a good time. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Pearl Star. I am listed as a female Boxer mix but I must be mixed with a shortie because I am not very tall. In fact, I'm very petite all around! I currently weigh about 30lbs and shoudl top out around 40lbs. My foster mom says I could still be a type of bully breed because I have swagger when I walk ;) It would be interesting if my future family did a DNA test for me. Some other details about me, I am really close to being potty trained. I have not had an accident in a while. I am crate trained and sleep in a crate during the night. I would say I am quiet in my crate but I do snore...does that count? I have a big personality, my face is like an emoji and you can tell what I am thinking. I know I am super awesome but I do have 1 small confession. I am a little shy with humans. I am learning to trust and my foster mom says I would do really well with some confidence training. She has already taken me to a class and I loved it! I am learning to walk properly on a leash and will sit for food. I am working on my wait command but "down" is not a concept I have mastered yet. I am food motivated, (I mean, who isn't) and that is a really good incentive for me to interact with my people. Small kids with quick movements scare me so it would be best to be in a house with older kids. Snuggling is still scary too, but I will get there with time and patients. I just need time to grow to my full awesome potential. Will you be the one to watch me grow? All you have to do to meet me is fill out an application....hope to see you soon.   https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 6, 2024, 7:31 pm

Story
Shea is a beautiful pitbull mix with her strawberry blonde coat that shines like an airplane in a sunset. She is also the perfect size dog, not too small as to be squished if accidentally sat on, but not too big to be mistaken for a black bear. She is as patient as a humpback whale and as gentle as a ladybug, when is comes to small children. She wants nothing more than a brother or sister to play with her, whether human or K9 though she may need to conduct a thorough investigation before warming up to them. She will love and guard your children in a way that would make any mother hen proud. Her love for the outdoors will inspire you to see the world in a brighter perspective. Her hero is Forrest Gump as she strives to live by his lifestyle of running. Her greatest strength lies in her ability to snuggle and she even has a super power to know when someone is especially sad and will promptly apply kisses and snuggles to remedy said sadness.
