Meet Journey — a 2-year-old, 30 lb Boxer mix with the cutest little underbite and a heart full of love. She’s the perfect mix of playful and easygoing: she’ll happily play fetch or tug for a few minutes, then settle in for a long nap—preferably on your lap or stretched across your legs.Journey can be shy with new people, but once she trusts you, she becomes your loyal shadow and sweetest cuddlebug. She’s house trained, learning her leash manners, and improving with car rides. She has been crated for short periods (2-4 hours at a time) and does well. She is good with other dogs (cats and kids unknown). She’s an enthusiastic chewer, so she’ll need plenty of toys to keep her busy. She can live in an apartment and reliably goes potty on leash.Journey would thrive with a patient adopter who can help her continue building confidence and maybe even provide a doggy friend. If you’re looking for a loving, snuggly companion with a snaggletooth smile, Journey might be the perfect match for you.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $200. LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. NEW RESCUE! Hi! I’m Nova Scotia! I’m a one-year-old boxer mix (my foster family thinks I might also have some German shepherd and pitbull in me). I’m on the lookout for my forever family, and I think you should know—I’m kind of the whole package! I live with five other dogs right now, and I get along with all of them. I’m playful and love a good romp, but I’m also respectful and know when another pup doesn’t want to play. I’m great with kids too, so I’d fit right in with a fun, busy household. I’m house trained and love using my doggy door. I’m also crate trained and feel extra safe enjoying my meals in my crate. I’ve got plenty of energy and would be happiest with someone who takes me on daily adventures. I’m super smart, eager to please, and treat-motivated—so I’d be a dream dog for anyone who likes to teach tricks or maybe even try out dog sports. Even though I’m athletic, I’m also a total cuddlebug. I love being near my people and being part of whatever they’re doing. At the end of the day, nothing makes me happier than curling up with you for some snuggles. So…what do you say? Do you have room in your heart (and on your couch) for me? Story
Nala is a 5-year-old boxer whose whole mission in life is to love her person with her entire wiggly heart. She greets you with a full-body tail wag, leans her whole weight into you, & curls up like she’s been waiting for you all day. She has the goofy charm of a boxer with dramatic butt wiggles, crooked sit positions, paw “talking,” laser-pointer zoomies, & playful twirls that make you laugh. She also has a tender, sensitive side; she loves human touch, being close & is the kind of Velcro dog who will quietly rest her head on your knee if you’re upset. At 5 she’s past the wild puppy phase—house-trained, crate-trained, a good sleeper, predictable & stable—yet still young enough for play & fun. Nala thrives as the only dog so she can soak up all the affection & settle into a peaceful, loving home. She’s a perfect match for someone who wants a companion who bonds deeply, brings daily laughs, & fills the home with warmth. She also passed thru the Training and shadow program at K9 Lifeline.

Story
Elsa is 8 years young and came from a neglect and abuse case in Colorado. She was confiscated from her "family," along with her son, Olaf. Elsa was so afraid when she arrived to our rescue and wouldn't stop shaking in the back of her crate. It took two weeks for her to gain confidence and trust us enough to start exploring the rescue. The rest is history... since Elsa created a bond with us, she has opened up SO much! She lives for her walks, is obsessed with snuggles and will quite literally follow you anywhere you go. She is wonderful on car rides and loves a good pup cup! Elsa's ideal family is someone who will continue to dress her up and treat her like the queen she is... lol. But really, she would thrive as an only pup who will spend the rest of her days spoiled, loved and cherished. She is going to make the most loyal and loving companion to a very lucky person/family.

Story
Ladybug is a 2 year old, Dogo Argentino that was abandoned at her trainers house. Her family never came back for her. She was sent to the board and train for having a sensitive tummy, which a high quality kibble quickly fixed! Ladybug is sweet, playful with most pups, non-reactive on leash, and affectionate with humans. Despite being given up on by humans, she is so willing to trust and be a part of a family! She deserves the same commitment and love that she gives to humans, in return. If you can commit to loving this forever girl, please apply below or reach out with any additional questions.

Story
Olaf is a 6 year old, deaf Pittie who is the perfect mix of sweet and sensitive. He came from a home of abuse and neglect. Often, getting attacked by his dad, a large male Pittie, without intervention from his owners. He and Elsa were confiscated and saved from their awful home. Olaf is now looking for a family who can understand that he needs special care and training due to being deaf. Olaf, although he looks tough, is equally as sensitive and eager to trust. Olaf would love a family that has a yard and is home often, as he loves to be close to his humans! He is great on walks, has the biggest appetite, and loves being goofy with those that he trusts! Olaf loves car rides, is obsessed with foods (except carrots), and loves going for walks, as long as his human can advocate for him and take space from situations that Olaf doesn't hear coming like runners. Olaf is dog selective and has done great with dogs here at the rescue with slow and proper introductions so a home with another female pup will be considered on a case by case basis!
