Story
Dori thinks she must be on Santa's naughty list, since no one has wanted to adopt her this whole year! She is the sweetest, silliest girl who will tell you all about it when you get home by woo-wooing at you! Dori loves to go for walks and snuggle on the couch with you. She is a boxer mix, spayed, utd on shots and chipped. Dori is probably almost 3yo now and is VERY ready for her furever home. Dori loves to run around the backyard and be chased by another dog her size or bigger. She should NOT live in a home with small prey-type animals, including cats. Dori has had 2 litters of pups and was a great mama. She can be reactive to other dogs while on leash, but I feel like it's due to excitement. However, obviously any introduction should be slow and on neutral territory. Dori is such a wonderful dog who deserves to have her first (of many), best Christmas of her life. Meet Oreo Age: ~1.5 years Breed: Boxer Mix Weight: 54 lbs Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped Oreo is a beautiful girl with a shiny black coat and the cutest curly tail. She’s as sweet as her name and loves her humans more than anything in the world. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 This smart young lady is completely potty trained and even dog-door trained. She’s also an excellent car rider, making her the perfect adventure buddy! Oreo knows several commands (sit, off, outside, and working on down) and takes treats ever so gently. &#226&#156&#168 What Oreo loves: Being with her people Tasty marrow bones & bully sticks Joining in on whatever’s happening indoors &#226&#156&#168 What Oreo is learning: Crate time (she’s not a big fan yet) Leash manners Not counter-surfing Oreo enjoys other dogs when introduced properly, though she has a rough-and-tumble play style, so she’d do best with dogs her size or larger. Because of that playful energy, we don’t recommend small dogs or young kids. She does have some protective instincts once she bonds with you and isn’t always fond of knocks or doorbells—but her loyalty and love make her an incredible companion. Thunderstorms or loud noises? No problem—Oreo takes them in stride. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, loyal dog who’s ready to be part of your daily life, Oreo may just be your perfect match. Apply today to meet this lovable girl and give Oreo the forever family she deserves!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 8, 2025, 11:53 am

Story
Hims so handsome!! Look at this beautiful boy! Meet Corbin Corndog, the charming young lad with the best floppy ears. Corbin is the kind of puppy who makes you stop in your tracks! Not just because of his precious puppy dawg eyes or that darling little face, but because his coat is literally the softest thing you’ve ever felt. Think silk, but fluffier. It’s nearly impossible not to reach out and give him a gentle pet, and once you do, it will be hard to stop! We believe that Corbin is a Boxer mix of some sort around 8 months old and weighs approximately 30 pounds. He's got big paws and is still growing, so he has the possibility of being a decent sized boy! I love his nubbin of a tail! That's how he got the name Corndog LOL! Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. Check out Corbin here: https://youtu.be/yD_zIpJN6_Q When Corbin came to visit us, he was full of gentle curiosity. He was especially affectionate with the humans, leaning into cuddles and curling up with Chelsey on the couch like he’d known her forever. There’s something incredibly sweet about the way he melts into people, it’s like he’s just been waiting for someone to call his own. He’s still a young pup, and when it came to other dogs at our rescue, he did best with ones closer to his size and energy level. Bigger, bouncier dogs can make him a little unsure, but once we introduced him to a playful pup more his speed, he lit right up and was ready for a round of chase. He’d do best in a home with a calm, medium-energy dog who gives him space to settle in and helps build his confidence. Corbin is also highly treat motivated, which makes him a dream student for anyone interested in teaching fun tricks or building a strong training foundation. Whether it’s “sit,” “stay,” or “let’s learn to be brave,” he’s ready to earn his gold star—as long as there’s a snack involved. He hasn’t had exposure to children yet, but we think he’d do well with older, dog-savvy kids who understand how to support a young dog learning the ropes. If there is a certain age you are curious in knowing how he acts around, please let us know and we would be happy to find out for you! We want to make sure he is perfect for your family! He was curious but a bit too enthusiastic with our housecat Biggie, so a cat-free home would be the best fit for him. Corbin’s ideal environment is a cozy home where he can stretch out, explore at his own pace, and share quiet moments with his people. Apartment life may not be his thing, but give him a backyard to sniff around in and a soft spot on the couch, and he’ll be in heaven. He’s affectionate, soulful, and just waiting to bloom into the loyal family companion he was meant to be. With a little patience and a lot of love, Corbin is going to be someone’s very best friend. Does Corbin sound like your new best buddy? Apply today! https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/687e987fa674cd7d1b0ab8b5 Questions? Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Story
**Now fostered in Kenmore, WA** Some superheroes come in small, wiggly, cuddly packages! This gallant little champ is Captain Underbite. His mission? To save the world through joy, laughter, and zoomies. He's already doing an excellent job spreading hope and giggles, delighting his foster folks and everyone he meets. Watch Captain Underbite's video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Nw-aPUHmwXc&feature=youtu.be This kissing crusader is about 5 months old and weighs 25 lbs. He might be a mix of boxer, labrador, and pittie, and something smaller... but we're just guessing! Based on his size and age, we also guess he probably will grow to be under 40 lbs, the most wonderful size! One thing we do know for sure is that he is the sweetest and most affectionate little snuggle buddy you could wish for. Captain is absolutely crazy about people. Everyone is his best friend and deserves his delicate little kisses and snuffles. His wagging tail and wiggling butt are almost as adorable as his wonky smile and his big, floppy ears. End to end, this boy is all about the cute! Photos don't quite do Captain justice; you have to see this hero in action to appreciate just how goofy and adoring he is. When he's excited, he darts around like a ping pong ball, changing direction and flying recklessly through the grass. He picks up toys in those silly jaws of his and shakes them with such ferocity that he sometimes falls over! And when he's finished with his short bursts of energy, he is the most tender-hearted little cuddler. He wants to be near you, preferably leaning against you, giving and receiving love. Captain's love is not limited to humans. He's thrilled to play with, or just hang out with, other dogs. He's brave enough to play with his 45- and 60-lb foster brothers. Captain loves to be chased. If other dogs ignore him, he finds toys to show off and tries to tempt his canine companions into a game of tug or keep-away. This clown also likes to play like a kitten! A toy dangling at the end of a stick or a string is a fabulous plaything for him! He chases it in circles with determination and zeal. And, of course, Captain also loves squeaky toys and crinkle toys — any toy will do, and a bone to chew keeps him busy and happy. Captain spends most of his time sleeping, of course, like most young puppies do. He loves to sleep flopped on his person or snuggled against them. He also loves his fuzzy donut bed. At night, Captain sleeps 8 hours straight in his crate in a room with his foster family. Some nights he complains for about one minute that he doesn't want to go to sleep yet… and then zzzzzzzzzz, he conks out. Captain is proud to tell you that he's potty trained now. He LOVES praise, so he quickly learned to potty on command. He understands that outside is the right place for his business, and with frequent outings during the day he's a reliable house pal. Eager to please, he stops a behavior when he understands you don't like it. He's also very food motivated — he loves meal time so much that he spins in circles from the excitement! This food motivation has made him easy to train so far. Though he's just getting started in his new Pacific Northwest foster home, he already knows to run into his kennel at feeding time (with the "kennel up" command) after a few celebratory pirouettes. He's looking forward to learning tricks for treats! Captain Underbite's greatest superpower is loving! He really wants to be someone's baby. He just wants to be wherever you are, making you laugh and hearing that he's a good boy! He likes to visit friends' houses and is thrilled to have people and dogs over to visit as well. Will you be the lucky person to have a superhero for a life partner? Adopt Captain Underbite! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6812254ef942e441f205b414 Please email Leah.Smith@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Meet Sockhop! The cutest kid in town with the best playful energy! He’s a growing boy and is motivated to learn all of the things! He is getting trained in his foster home to be the bestest friend ever! Did someone say crate trained?? Oh yeah! He is a stylish guy with socks on all 4 feet and rocks a bandana like no other! He is full of love and ready for his future family to find him! We believe Sockhop is a boxer mix around 6 months old and weighs approximately 35 pounds. He still has some room to grow and is sporting the best lanky limbs in this phase! Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But what we can’t guarantee in genetics, we can guarantee in love! This boy loved to be around every single person he met while he was visiting us and every single person loved to be around him! Check out Sockhop here: https://youtu.be/771PR4bKdB8 Sockhop is fortunate enough to be fostered in a home setting which is awesome! This is a great source of enrichment as he waits for his forever family. It provides structure and a sort of example of what it is like to live in a home when he gets adopted! It’s obvious he is comfortable being around dogs because he effortlessly meshed with all of the new friends we introduced him to when he was with us! He met a couple of friends with various temperaments out in the yard and was ready to play with all of them! He tended to hang around the dogs with higher energies over the more docile friends! He is definitely a guy that wants to be where the party's at! He would do well in a home with another medium energy pup that can bring the fun and run but also settle down and chill as well! Sockhop is definitely a bundle of fun and wants everyone around him to know it! He wants even his feline friends to know what it’s like to play and run! Due to his joy and love for an exciting play life, Sockhop will do best in a home that doesn’t have any cats. We want to make sure that every animal in the home appreciates the love that Sockhop gives! He has that puppy heart that wants to show affection to anyone who is willing to receive it! We believe that he would do well with older children who know how to properly enrich and handle a bouncing puppy boy! He would also do best in a home with a yard over an apartment so that he could get his zoomies out! What I loved about Sockhop is how easily he settled down once we came inside. He didn’t try to continue being a ball of energy. He showed me that he knows how to balance his excitement and even offered to lay down on the couch with me. He was showing off his “sit” and “lay” and made it apparent that he will be the one to get an A+ in puppy training school. He would be a great guy to take out on adventures because of how trainable he is! He is young and full of life and will be a great addition to his future family! Does Sockhop sound like your guy?
