Story
Dori thinks she must be on Santa's naughty list, since no one has wanted to adopt her this whole year! She is the sweetest, silliest girl who will tell you all about it when you get home by woo-wooing at you! Dori loves to go for walks and snuggle on the couch with you. She is a boxer mix, spayed, utd on shots and chipped. Dori is probably almost 3yo now and is VERY ready for her furever home. Dori loves to run around the backyard and be chased by another dog her size or bigger. She should NOT live in a home with small prey-type animals, including cats. Dori has had 2 litters of pups and was a great mama. She can be reactive to other dogs while on leash, but I feel like it's due to excitement. However, obviously any introduction should be slow and on neutral territory. Dori is such a wonderful dog who deserves to have her first (of many), best Christmas of her life. Story
Meet Chacha Female DOB: May 22, 2024 Weight: 29 pounds (medium small) Breed: Boxer / Black Mouth Cur Spayed (Fixed) (Spayed during a community campaign — no paperwork available) Microchipped Healthy & Adoption-Ready Personality, Breed Info & Expectations Chacha T is a loving, social girl with a happy personality and a wonderful balance of affection and playful energy. She absolutely loves going on walks and enjoys spending time with her people, making her a great companion for someone who enjoys having a dog involved in daily life and activities. She also gets along well with: Dogs Children Chacha T does not do well with cats and would do best in a cat-free home. Some dogs naturally have stronger prey-drive tendencies or become overly focused on smaller animals depending on breed traits, personality, and past experiences. She has beautifully matured beyond the puppy stage while still keeping a fun, playful spirit. Chacha T enjoys companionship, interaction, and being included as part of the family. A Boxer / Black Mouth Cur Mix is typically a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion with a wonderful balance of playful energy and steadfast devotion. This breed mix often combines the Boxer's fun-loving, people-oriented personality with the Black Mouth Cur's confidence, work ethic, and strong loyalty to their family. They are happiest when they are included in everyday life and enjoy being active alongside the people they love. These dogs are eager to learn and respond well to positive reinforcement, making them highly trainable and rewarding companions. They enjoy daily exercise, outdoor adventures, interactive games, and activities that challenge both their mind and body. While they have an energetic side, they are also known for being affectionate and enjoy relaxing with their family after an active day. A Boxer / Black Mouth Cur Mix would thrive in a home prepared for: Daily exercise and outdoor activities Continued positive reinforcement training Mental stimulation and enrichment Structure, consistency, and routine Plenty of companionship and family interaction A lifelong commitment to their emotional and physical well-being With love, leadership, and consistency, a Boxer / Black Mouth Cur Mix grows into a confident, devoted, and well-mannered companion who forms deep bonds with their family and is always ready for the next adventure. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Chacha T will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training Structure and consistency Continued socialization and engagement Daily exercise and mental stimulation Patience during adjustment periods Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress 3 weeks to learn your routine 3 months to fully feel at home With patience, stability, and commitment, rescue dogs often blossom into deeply loyal lifelong companions. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Chacha T will need: Daily walks and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine wellness exams and updated vaccinations Preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because vaccine records are unavailable and vaccines are currently due, adopters should establish veterinary care promptly after adoption to update and maintain her preventative care schedule. Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping her live a healthy and happy life. Chacha T is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Story
Bruno is very playful, loves to play fetch. Eats Purina dog chow. Free feeds throughout the day. Has been losing weight and has a few skin tags in his back. Bruno is kenneled trained inside and outside. He loves playing outside but he will try to dig under the fence if there is another dog on the other side of the fence and if he’s not supervised. Bruno knows commands such as sit, shake, lay down. Do to personal reasons we are unable to keep him.
