He will thrive in a home where he can be active, he loves to run around, go for walks, and would make an excellent outdoor activity partner. Cody can do well with other dogs but it is always best to do proper introductions to make sure it is a good match and that all parties 'mesh'. Skye loves to be with her people and would thrive with a family that wants to give her lots of love and continue her basic training. Skye has been with us for 4 years, and is very ready to find her forever family! Skye is very loving with people and loves to play ball in the yard. Skye is active but also likes to lounge after some activity. She would make a great active buddy followed by movie nights cuddling on the couch. She has been living in a kennel environment, which is very stressful and overstimulating for dogs, so she will need a family that can continue training with her and help her decompress. Skye is very smart and knows sit, lay down, spin, wait and will work for treats! She recently completed a 6 week training course with a local trainer and did amazing! Skye can be reactive to other dogs on leash and will need a family that can help her work on this. She has done great working around other dogs in her training classes, but she can be reactive when other dogs are elevated or reactive also. She can do well with other dogs in calm settings and proper introductions. Since she has some reactivity, she would do best in a standalone home and not an apartment, or in a crowded city neighborhood. No cats or small critters. Skye can jump when she is excited and is still working on taking treats gently, so we are looking for a home with kids over 12 or adult only, . Skye is UTD on shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.
