Calico kittens & cats in Deland, Florida

Dory is a 3 year old indoor and outdoor cat. She is low maintenance, friendly, but not cuddly. She likes to be petted but not to sit on your lap. She is a good mouser. She eats only dry cat food, despite repeated attempts to supplement her diet with wet food. She gets along with calm larger dogs, but not puppies or small hyperactive dogs. We got her from a private rescue here in NSB when she was about 6 months old. Its been awhile since she's been around another cat, so I'm not sure about that. She used to be fine. She would come to you with food, bed, cat condo if you like.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.  Hi. I'm Jennifer. Yes, that Jennifer. The one with opinions. Lots of them. Let's get one thing straight: if I choose to nap in the exact middle of the hallway, that's my decision. If you almost trip over me, I'll be sure to let you know about it. Loudly. Consider it character-building. I also believe bathroom time is a team activity, and the sink water is obviously better than the perfectly fresh water in my bowl. You'll understand eventually. Now for the important things: I love catnip. The second my human servants open the container, I become the happiest cat on Earth. Wand toys? Amazing. Couch cuddles? Absolutely—on my schedule, of course. I'll even curl up in your lap and sleep beside you at night once you've earned my trust. I'm not really interested in sharing my people with other cats. I'd much rather be your one and only, where I can soak up all the attention I deserve. I'm a little moody, a little dramatic, and a whole lot of personality. If you appreciate a cat with sass, humor, and a heart full of love, I think we'll get along just fine. **I am part of the From Our Home to Yours Program. I have multiple cats, a dog, and teenage boys, and Rita prefers quiet areas of the house. She bonds more easily with women and is very sweet, enjoying petting (except on her belly). Loud noises like the vacuum frighten her.Feeding is difficult with several cats, and Rita has gained weight because one of my cats requires frequent meals. She doesn’t beg for food, but she will eat if it’s available. As the only pet, her weight should improve with normal feeding routines. She has had some mild hair thinning near her lower back and tail, which has improved. A vet visit could help determine whether it was related to stress or diet. I was told she was spayed, but she occasionally shows signs that make me uncertain. A vet can easily confirm her status.Rita coexists peacefully with other animals but truly thrives when she has her own quiet space. She would do best as the only pet in a calm home with an uncovered litter box.The adoption helps protect Rita from unsafe "free pet" situations.

She’s a sweet heart I’m very sad I have to rehome her

Meet Brie! Brie is a beautiful 5–6-year-old orange tabby with an incredibly sweet and affectionate personality. She is up to date on her vaccinations and has a clean bill of health. I welcomed Brie into our family after her previous owner, who was elderly, could no longer care for her. Unfortunately, she has not adjusted well to our busy household or bonded with our younger cats. I believe she would be much happier in a quieter home, preferably without other cats. Brie is wonderful with children and dogs! She loves our dogs and will affectionately rub her head against them. She also enjoys being around people, looking out the window, using her scratching post, and playing with strings and pom-pom balls. This is not an easy decision, and I want to find Brie a safe, loving home where she can feel comfortable and thrive. She would make a wonderful companion for someone willing to open their home and heart to this sweet little soul. 🧡

I have four little cats born on August 2nd and 3rd and I'm looking to find them homes. It's okay if somebody only wants one but I would prefer somebody take two so they have a friend but that's only a recommendation not a requirement. They like to run around and play and cuddle up with each other. Two of them are fully black and the other two are mostly black with a little bit of white.
