We have invested a lot of our time, energy and resources to offer a second chance to these rescued kitties. Many have been through situations already and our goal is to prevent that from happening again. We are committed to seeing our cats through, as we have poured our hearts into them, and take our adoptions seriously, even after they leave our care.   We encourage an ongoing relationship with our adopters, and look for people that are easy to work with.   If at any time in the cat’s life you are unable to keep him or her, you are required to return the cat(s) to us.  We don’t stop caring once the kitties leave! We make every effort that each adoption be successful. All adopters must complete an application. You must be at least 18 years old to fill out an application.  Please print clearly and considerately (for paper applicants). Please fill it out with complete honesty, – there is no “right” or “wrong” answer. Meet Snuggles!She loves attention and all that you can offer! She's a very sweet gal, loves to cuddle and play, doesn't mind if you hold her. She likes to enjoy a screened in patio at times, but prefers the safe feeling of indoors. Snuggles is deaf, we were told, but we think she has some hearing. This has not cut her life and joy off in any way. Although, since she has been in rescue, she has been very shy and withdrawn. She spends most of her time laying out in the back patio with the other 'shy' cats - as close to nature as they can be. We feel that once she feels more secure and safe, she will blossom into the beautiful gal she really is. She is such a pretty calico, her pictures do not show her beauty. Each cat adoption includes vet work; Spay or Neuter, Appropriate Vaccines, Microchip (for most cats), FIV/FeLV Test, basic parasite treatments like deworming and ear checks (for mites), and any other potential medical need at the time he or she is in our care.  Courtesy listings or cats that are not in our immediate care, may not have all the listed services and can be discussed at the time of an interview. We also include an adoption  goodie bag with Premium Cat Food,  canned cat food, toys, feather toys or string toys, laser light,  adoption folder with vet history, healthy pet care and product brochure with subscription offered,  any available coupons, and as much information as needed to help you with your new kitty!  Similarly, cats that are courtesy listings or not in our direct care, may not come with these incentives, or may have other belongings to go with them, which can be discussed during the interview stage. Adoption Fees: An adoption fee or donation is used to help recover the medical expenses for each of our cats, and for their needs while in our care. The adoption fees vary depending on popularity, adoptability and other factors we take into consideration. Our fees range from "any donation" - to 40 or 60 or so, for adults or over 1 year.  Average is 60 for teens, and kittens are 75 - 100 or so, depending on medical costs.  All fees are potentially flexible but we tend to consider it to be a reflection of the adopter's value in our kitties and their state of mind. She may be a little spicy at first, but with patience and trust she can become a sweet and loving companion. Charlotte would do best in a calm home with no dogs or young children. Callie is a Calico who loves to share a bed with her sister (Pinny, who is also listed). Unfortunately, the costs of having pets in our condiminium are too expensive and as much as we love her, we can no longer afford her having to pay those costs on top of general care. She has never been outside or exposed to any elements that could cause them issues. She is pellet litter-trained, and loves to cuddle. Adoption comes with free kibble, assorted treats, and toys.

This is Bowie! I currently have a one year old who’s been dealing with allergies and after trying all avenues, it’s been said that the cats are the reason why. After separating them into another room for a week, all of his issues cleared up. I got bowie when he was 6 months old in 2019 from the shelter. He’s very timid and just hides under the bed all day and runs from everyone. He used to be friendlier but as he’s gotten older, he just keeps to himself. He isn’t destructive nor aggressive, just extremely shy and think he’ll thrive without the chaos my home is.

He is a very affectionate cat and he loves to make biscuits however he's not coping well with the other cats we have and it is making him very anxious and shy. He needs to go to a home without any other cats where he can feel more comfortable and happy.
