Story
We have 4 cats including Olive. She was adopted from a local PetSmart. She is the newest cat in the family. She was 2+ when we got her in July of 2023 and her background paperwork said she was a stray. She gets along with our 2 females but she and our male cat hate each other. We are having issues with her not using the litter box (know it is her because she will poop/pee around the house right in front of us). When we first brought her home, we kept her sequestered in a bedroom with a litter box with no accidents. As soon as we expanded her area, she started marking and fighting with our male cat. She does not like to be picked up, but can be quite the snuggle bug on her terms. She especially likes to snuggle at night in bed, frequently sleeping on me or by my head on my pillow. She loves chasing a laser pointer light, playing with cat toys, loves the cardboard scratchers for cats, and cat trees. She seems to get along with various dogs who have visited our home.

Story
I adopted Willow at the Montrose Animal Shelter in Colorado. She was found and they did not have any information about her but based on their estimation, she is about 5 years old now. Willow would do best in a household without other cats but is okay with dogs if they are calm mannered. She likes to go outside and I have kept a close eye on her when doing so. Willow is social, loves treat time, and to chase her toys around the house like a little game of hide and seek! She doesn’t like car rides and neighborhood cats taunting her at the back door. You will get everything you need to take care of her- a litter box, food bowl, automatic waterer, cat tower, toys, grooming supplies, ect. I am looking for a stable loving household who will take the time to give Willow a good life.

Story
Meet Roberta! Roberta is truly one of a kind. She’s a calm, gentle soul who can be a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, her sweet personality shines through. Because of her quiet nature, Roberta would do best in a peaceful home — one with calm cats, mellow dogs, or gentle children who can respect her space. Her shyness may come from her mysterious past, but she’s ready to start a new chapter filled with love and patience. Roberta is fully vaccinated and spayed, so she’s all set for a forever home — no kittens in her future, just cuddles and comfort!

Story
We adopted Ethel January of 2018 when she was 8 months old. We got her in Dallas, TX where she lived with my husband and I in an apartment for 6 months before we moved to Kansas City. She adjusted well to the move and she was the best cat for two years until we had our first child in 2020. Since then, she has suffered from anxiety, pulling her hair out and getting aggressive with the kids. We now have 3 kids and she does not do well with the chaos. She is so sweet and loving but this environment is too much for her. She would thrive in a quieter home without young children and a daily stampede! It breaks our hearts to part with her. She is the funniest cat. She sleeps most of the day but loves to play. Her favorite is fetching hair ties. She loves to snuggle and sleep on your lap. Her front claws are declawed so she’s mostly an indoor cat, though she’s curious about the outdoors! All I want is for her to find a loving home. She’s a great cat.

Story
I adopted Bell in April of 2020 she was 2years and 8months old. She has been the easiest cat ever. She is very shy at first and protective, but once she gets to know you you will feel like the most special person in the world. I never wanted to rehome her but unfortunately I don’t have a choice. I have a 1 year old that I have to keep her and her food/litter seperate from and the place i’m moving to will make that impossible. I want to make sure she goes to the best home. I have a litter robot 4/cat tree/toys/food/cat litter/bowls/water fountain/kennel and probably more. Let me know if you are interested in adopting my sweet Bell.

Story
Gashar is my miracle kitty who needs a miracle. An amazing emotional support cat, his cuddly personality and soothing purr anchored me post-surgery. By timing my mend to his meals, he also helps manage my disabilities. Despite being an old man (13), he loves to play and chase strings. He's a climber and faithful companion, braving the leap from my bed to my hammock for rocking cuddles. Gashar is in surprisingly good health, despite being FIV and FeLeuk positive. He's a favorite of the KC Cat Clinic as they marvel at his great health. The only manifestation of the viruses we've seen is OS-Kerato-conjuctivitis in the left eye, which is being treated. Unfortunately I need to move internationally where he can't follow. Thus, I am happy to send him to his new home with all his supplies. He would make an excellent first cat for someone wanting to see if cat companionship is right for them long-term, or continuing as an emotional support cat for someone who needs some loving attention.
