Story
I adopted Bell in April of 2020 she was 2years and 8months old. She has been the easiest cat ever. She is very shy at first and protective, but once she gets to know you you will feel like the most special person in the world. I never wanted to rehome her but unfortunately I don’t have a choice. I have a 1 year old that I have to keep her and her food/litter seperate from and the place i’m moving to will make that impossible. I want to make sure she goes to the best home. I have a litter robot 4/cat tree/toys/food/cat litter/bowls/water fountain/kennel and probably more. Let me know if you are interested in adopting my sweet Bell.

Story
We adopted Ethel January of 2018 when she was 8 months old. We got her in Dallas, TX where she lived with my husband and I in an apartment for 6 months before we moved to Kansas City. She adjusted well to the move and she was the best cat for two years until we had our first child in 2020. Since then, she has suffered from anxiety, pulling her hair out and getting aggressive with the kids. We now have 3 kids and she does not do well with the chaos. She is so sweet and loving but this environment is too much for her. She would thrive in a quieter home without young children and a daily stampede! It breaks our hearts to part with her. She is the funniest cat. She sleeps most of the day but loves to play. Her favorite is fetching hair ties. She loves to snuggle and sleep on your lap. Her front claws are declawed so she’s mostly an indoor cat, though she’s curious about the outdoors! All I want is for her to find a loving home. She’s a great cat.

Story
We are looking for a loving new home for our 8 year old cat, Lola. She is a sweet, affectionate and playful cat at heart, but with two young and energetic toddlers and a newborn, we are no longer able to give her the calm environment she needs. As a result, she has become increasingly anxious and aggressive, and we feel it is no longer the best fit for her wellbeing. This is an extremely difficult decision for our family, but we want her to have the chance to truly thrive. Lola is spayed and fully up to date on her vaccinations. She does have some special dietary needs (food allergies), and we are happy to help subsidize those moving forward if that helps her transition into a great home. We would love to find someone who can give her the calm and supportive environment she deserves.

Story
I adopted Willow at the Montrose Animal Shelter in Colorado. She was found and they did not have any information about her but based on their estimation, she is about 5 years old now. Willow would do best in a household without other cats but is okay with dogs if they are calm mannered. She likes to go outside and I have kept a close eye on her when doing so. Willow is social, loves treat time, and to chase her toys around the house like a little game of hide and seek! She doesn’t like car rides and neighborhood cats taunting her at the back door. You will get everything you need to take care of her- a litter box, food bowl, automatic waterer, cat tower, toys, grooming supplies, ect. I am looking for a stable loving household who will take the time to give Willow a good life.

Story
Move over, Hollywood—there’s a new starlet in town! Marilyn is a stunning calico just under a year old, and she’s already stealing hearts faster than her brothers, James Dean and Clint Eastwood, can squabble over the spotlight. Sweet, cuddly, and just the right amount of shy, Marilyn is the type who likes to warm up on her own terms—think red-carpet entrance rather than a surprise party. Once she decides you’re her person, though, she’ll happily cuddle, play, and keep you entertained with her gentle charm. She does well with her siblings, but don’t worry—they’re not a package deal. Marilyn’s ready to shine as the leading lady in your home, all on her own if that’s what you’d prefer. Ready to meet your purrfect little movie star? Marilyn’s waiting in the wings, practicing her close-ups. Call or text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 for more information. Marilyn is in the Kansas City metro, but transport is available to the right home!

Story
Scar is the sweetest boy when he wants to be, he will come up to you and lay in your lap and rub all against you however he hates being picked up or pursued. I do not wish to get rid of scar as he is a good cat outside of a couple of major behavioral issues that I have attempted to correct but after multiple years with this little guy and no improvement for the sake of the rest of the family we are looking to find him a new forever home. He does have a big problem with getting into food bags when they are closed, put away in a shut cabinet or even locked in a plastic food bin. Scar has broken into pulled open and ripped apart almost anyway we have tried to hide his food or our other dog and cat food he does not care. He also will rip into and eat almost any human food that is left accessible to him. I did mark that he is good with other cats but there is a caveat, he tries to mount our other boy cat and despite multiple different attempts to rectify this behavior it persists.

Story
Tank is such a special cat and his next home will be so lucky to have him. Tank is currently 9 years old and was adopted from a shelter and kept on a farm. The original adopters had asked me to take him, as their environment was becoming dangerous for Tank. Tank has been THE BEST indoor cat,and quickly befriended our 4-year-old border collie. Recently our living situation has changed and we simply do not have the time to dedicate to Tank what he deserves. He is a goofy cat, and deserves a stable home environment with lots of snuggles and attention. He quickly partnered up with our dog and I believe he could learn to love another dog who likes cats. He is a declawed, spayed, and loves people. While he is a little chubby at 17lbs, this makes for the perfect cuddler. You may catch him hanging around belly up once he gets comfortable.

Story
Bodie is a very sweet boy and we love him dearly. I am helping my senior mom sell her home and move to an independent living facility. Although we have found a facility that accepts pets, the size of the new space is just too small for Mom and two cats so she will only be able to take one. I travel frequently so I am unable to give him the life he deserves. Bodie is very playful and affectionate. He loves to sleep and snuggle with his human. We hope to find someone who will love him.❤️ There is no specific cutoff at this point for how long we can keep him. I put 2 months because that was the longest the system would allow. We have more to do before we list the house but making sure Bodie was taken care of was high on the priority list of things to address.
