Story
This is my father-in-laws cat. Her name is Kyra. She is very affectionate to him. She is very laid back. Loves to play with toys and get pets. Her favorite thing is to have the faucet running to take a bath. I don't think she likes the smell of dogs. I think she is up to dates on shots. We have to rehome her because he is moving into a high care living facility and they do not allow pets. I really want her to go to a loving home, for someone to give her the attention and love she wants.

Story
Tostada is very sweet and cute but has issues living with our family. She doesn’t get along with us only with our other cats. I believe someone with more patience should take care of her as she is very untrustworthy of people. She’s about 10 months old and we got her from a friend. We wanted her as more company to us and our other cats but just didn’t fit well into our family.

Story
I adopted Willow at the Montrose Animal Shelter in Colorado. She was found and they did not have any information about her but based on their estimation, she is about 5 years old now. Willow would do best in a household without other cats but is okay with dogs if they are calm mannered. She likes to go outside and I have kept a close eye on her when doing so. Willow is social, loves treat time, and to chase her toys around the house like a little game of hide and seek! She doesn’t like car rides and neighborhood cats taunting her at the back door. You will get everything you need to take care of her- a litter box, food bowl, automatic waterer, cat tower, toys, grooming supplies, ect. I am looking for a stable loving household who will take the time to give Willow a good life.

Story
This friendly youngster was found at work a few days ago. Very sweet and seems to be less than a year old. I would guess about six months old. He is house broken and I'm sure it was someone's pet. I posted the picture on a few found listings in this area. He's very small. The picture makes him look bigger...

Story
Piper is 11 years old. She is a LAP CAT. Very cuddly and affectionate. She is funny and loving and loves to purr. She can be very vocal. She was in the home with other cats and one day decided she didn't like them anymore, there may have been some kind of fight, I'm not sure, and now she hides from them in the garage. 😞 For this reason it's probably best for her to be an only cat.

Story
This is Lil Kitty, she is approximately 5 years old. I have had her since she was about 6 weeks old. Lil kitty is very shy and timid, but super loving once she warms up to you. She would do best in a home with no dogs or dogs with low energy. She loves other cats once she gets to know them. We have recently had two babies back to back and she is not getting the attention she deserves. She loves pets on her head, and lots of snuggles. She is such a sweet girl and deserves a good home.

Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Rizzo and Gonzo are mama and daughter kitties who will live their best lives together. Rizzo is a sweet mama kitty who has been working hard to take care of her babies. She’s been a bit defensive of them around other cats, so if she goes to a home with other cats a slow introduction will be necessary. She’s playful and snuggly, but takes a little time to warm up to people at first. She LOVES getting pets, and will climb up on her foster mama's lap for more.  Gonzo is a shy kitty. She’s still working on her social skills and developing trust with people, so she needs an adopter who understands her needs and will help her to become more comfortable and confident. She likes to climb up to look out the window to watch the birds and squirrels, and she loves a cozy spot to snuggle up with her mom Rizzo for a good nap.  These kitties should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions. Rizzo was born approximately October 15, 2022, and August 12, 2025, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $222.50. They are spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, have microchips, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.  You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email kittycityks@aol.com.  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.  March 7, 2026, 7:07 pm

Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Meet Cleopatra! If you’re looking for a companion kitty, Cleo could be the cat for you! She’s a beautiful gray tortoiseshell girl, who loves to play and be brushed and likes to be near her human, especially at nap time, when she will want to be close to you.She has a bit of “tortitude,” which tortoiseshell cats are known for. Sometimes she needs to be gently reined in if she gets too wound up during playtime! Sudden movements or sounds sometimes scare her.Cleopatra will be okay with cat-friendly dogs and other cats, once they’ve been given a proper introductory process. Her foster home has 4 cats and a dog, and she has become comfortable enough to hang out during the day.Cleo will need a few weeks to adjust to her new home, because she has had several changes in her life and she’s anxious about new people and places. But once she knows she’s loved and safe, she will be a wonderful companion kitty. If you’re willing to give Cleo some love, patience and a forever home, let us know! Cleopatra was born approximately June 23, 2017, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt 2, and the 2nd is half off. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and worming, tested negative for feline leukemia and is microchipped. Story
Please contact Della @ (kittycityks@aol.com) for more information about this pet. Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm. Girlie and Buddy are a brother a sister duo who are bonded and need to be adopted together. Very affectionate and active, they love to be lap cats on different laps. Buddy likes to be on a lap having a nap while you take a nap. Girlie is a bit shy and only comes out from her hiding spot to eat and cuddle on her own terms. They are vocal to tell when they are hungry and when they want pets. Girlie will lay down and want her pets. They are using scratching posts, not furniture, and using the litter box appropriately. These sweet kitties should get along with other cats with proper introductions. We do not know how they would be with dogs or children, but with proper introductions they should be okay. Girlie will hide during introductions to the house and other cats. These kitties will be available to meet at the adoption center with an appointment.  Girlie and Buddy were born approximately May 28, 2024. Their combined adoption fee is $167.50. They have been neutered/spayed, are up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, are microchipped, and have tested negative for feline leukemia virus.   You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above.
