Calico kittens & cats in Olathe, Kansas

Bebe is about 6 years old and has been a part of our family for around 5 years. She has lived in two different households with dogs and does well after she warms up to them. We have a 90lb Golden Retriever and they play together. She is a great play mate and also a great lap cat. She has always used her litter box and has not had an accident over her 5 years with us. She is spayed and microchipped, but could use an updated vet visit. She sometimes forgets she has claws and would do best in a household with children older than 5 years old.Unfortunately we have had to make the hard decision to rehome this sweet girl with our new baby. We hope someone can give Bebe a lovely life.Supplies we have that can come with her if you’d like them include; cat tower, remaining food, gravity feeder, litter box, toys, and a cat crate for vet visits.

Penny is a 9 year old sweetheart who would prefer a quiet home. She loves to cuddle and be petted. She is very forthcoming with strangers and will participate in everything you do. She is insatiably curious and independent in a classic cat way.

Meet Tipper! Remember the outgoing, friendly, genuinely nice kid in school liked by everyone? That's Tipper! She's the class president, the pep squad leader, and the one hugging friends having a rough day. Tipper loves everyone! She's not shy about seeking attention, either. She's a lap kitty through and through: If you go to sit down, she'll be on your lap before your behind hits the cushion. At about 7 years old, Tipper is no "senior" at heart. She's a silly, playful kitty who loves rolling around on the floor with her toys. She's good with other cats. As for the dachshunds in her current home, they've all reached an understanding that ignoring each other is the best course of action. So, if you have respectful dogs that won't be all up in Tipper's business, they will probably do just fine together. You'd never know it when you meet her, but Tipper has had a rough time of it lately. Her owner passed away, and her owner's friend took her in. Somehow, Tipper wound up abandoned in a motel room, malnourished and looking pretty rough. Her owner's dad has Tipper now, but he can't keep her. Peaches and her son, Onyx, used to fend for themselves outside. A kind person took them in during a blizzard in Kansas City. Now Peaches and Onyx have grown to appreciate the comforts of life indoors and have no desire to venture outside. At about five months old, Onyx is coal black with just a little bit of white on his belly. He appreciates tasty food and playing with toys. He's a brave boy who shows his mama the ropes, letting her know that the world isn't so scary. Onyx is very loving and purrs like a big engine. Peaches is about two years old; she was just a baby herself when she had Onyx, but has learned so much from him. Peaches has started to trust humans and is learning to like pets and scratches. If you're patient with her, Peaches will reward you with her love, attention, and purrs. Both kitties have very good manners and are a joy to have. Peaches and Onyx would do best in an adult-only home with patient people. After all, it's not easy to go from living on the street to having everything you've always wanted right before your eyes: a warm, cozy place to sleep; regular, nutritious meals; fresh water; shelter from the rain and snow; and humans who are nice to you. Dolly is a 7 year old Calico. We adopted her from Melissa's Second Chance shelter. We thought our Ragdoll cat would like a friend. We were wrong. He can be the only cat in household unfortunately and that is the reason for rehoming Dolly. She is very sweet, playful and loves balls and strings. She a curious kitty and also enjoys watching cat games on YouTube! Her favorite is to lay on the floor and get her face and chin rubbed. Loves to be around people and would like to have a kitty friend. She has not been around dogs since we got her but think she would do just fine. She is consistent with her litter box use. She also loves people food.

Onyx (black) and Mickey (tortie) are two gentle and affectionate little sweeties looking for their puurfect human(s) to love on. Onyx is a little shy at first but once she gets to know you and knows she can trust you, she will be your best little buddy. Onyx will let you pick her up for short periods of time and is learning to like it more and more. Mickey is a bit more outgoing and likely won’t be too shy for too long. She is fine with being picked up. These girls like to be brushed and get pets and as they get to know you will be giving headbutts and kisses. They also like to sit next to you and get stroked and tummy rubs. Both girls are pretty laid back, but still like to play with their toys (small stuffed mice and balls) and each other and also enjoy for you to play with them with the wand toy. They spend most of their day lounging and hanging out watching what all is going on and will join you if they think you need some help. These girls were rescued from a very bad situation where they were neglected and not taken care of. They are learning what it is like to be cared for and loved. Both girls have come a long way at their foster mom’s home and will continue to do so in a patient and loving home. These girls have been through a great deal together and have developed a deep bond. They sleep together, they play together and sit in their foster Mom’s lap together. During lap time their motors roar with contentment all the while headbutting and rubbing on each other and foster Mom. It is time for them to find their FOREVER loving home together with someone who will give them the love and time they need to blossom into their beautiful little selves. Onyx and Mickey will do best in a mature home or one with older, cat-savvy children (10+). They would like to be the only kitties in the home but have been around other kitties and have shown no aggression so would likely get along with other calm cat-friendly kitties with proper introductions. They have not been around dogs so they would have to go to a home with a very calm cat-friendly dog and given very slow and  proper introductions. Onyx and Mickey were born approximately August 17, 2021, and February 14, 2010, respectively. Their combined adoption fee is $167.50. Nala is a super sweet and beautiful gray cat who loves people and wants to be close to her humans. She’s very affectionate, enjoys being petted, and is the kind of cat who will happily hang out with you on the couch or in bed. She is shy at first and will hide when meeting someone new, but after she has time to watch and get used to you, she warms up quickly and starts coming out for attention. Wet food is a great way to win her over faster, and once she trusts you she’ll greet you with sweet little meows and ask for pets. Nala would do best as the only pet in the home since she much prefers the company of people over other cats and dogs, and she’s looking for a calm place where she can be someone’s close companion. Nala needs a cat-savvy home - women only. She needs a cat tree so she can look out the window. She is available by appointment only. With an approved application - we will arrange a time to introduce Nala to you and your home.  This kitty should get along with kids given proper introductions.
