Story
We adopted Ethel January of 2018 when she was 8 months old. We got her in Dallas, TX where she lived with my husband and I in an apartment for 6 months before we moved to Kansas City. She adjusted well to the move and she was the best cat for two years until we had our first child in 2020. Since then, she has suffered from anxiety, pulling her hair out and getting aggressive with the kids. We now have 3 kids and she does not do well with the chaos. She is so sweet and loving but this environment is too much for her. She would thrive in a quieter home without young children and a daily stampede! It breaks our hearts to part with her. She is the funniest cat. She sleeps most of the day but loves to play. Her favorite is fetching hair ties. She loves to snuggle and sleep on your lap. Her front claws are declawed so she’s mostly an indoor cat, though she’s curious about the outdoors! All I want is for her to find a loving home. She’s a great cat.

Story
We are looking for a loving new home for our 8 year old cat, Lola. She is a sweet, affectionate and playful cat at heart, but with two young and energetic toddlers and a newborn, we are no longer able to give her the calm environment she needs. As a result, she has become increasingly anxious and aggressive, and we feel it is no longer the best fit for her wellbeing. This is an extremely difficult decision for our family, but we want her to have the chance to truly thrive. Lola is spayed and fully up to date on her vaccinations. She does have some special dietary needs (food allergies), and we are happy to help subsidize those moving forward if that helps her transition into a great home. We would love to find someone who can give her the calm and supportive environment she deserves.

Story
This is Olive. She was adopted about 2.5 years ago and is now approx 5 yrs old. She is very sweet but does not like to be picked up. She is sociable and likes to be in whatever room the family is in. She can be quite the snuggle bug, especially at night in bed. She loves chasing a laser pointer light, playing with cat toys, loves the cardboard scratchers for cats, and cat trees. She seems to get along with various dogs who have visited our home but she does not get along with our 11 yr old male cat, causing lots of stress for all. She would do best as an only cat or possibly with a dog. She is litter box trained, but due to stress of living with our male cat, does not use her litter box consistently and does not like to “share” litter box

Story
Gigi is everything!! She’s absolutely gorgeous, a torbie calico tuxedo, a combination of brown tabby and red tabby with a white bib and gloves. Her vivid light green eyes are tilted with an exotic look. Born about August 2024, she’s become a sleek gazelle. She’s still very much a kitten…has boundless energy, and like most cats probably will until about age 3 years. She gallops around her foster home with another kitty, flying up and down stairs, enjoying fresh air at the windows, and playing with toys. She respects the boundaries of the other two older cats. She will do best in a home where someone is usually home and gives her plenty of attention, and/or would enjoy having another cat or two to pal around with who would welcome a friend and playmate. Solitude would not be her idea of a good time, and the boredom would likely get her into trouble. Gigi was found loose in a neighborhood at age 6 months. A foster parent took her, but things got a bit complicated when she tested positive for feline leukemia. Her foster parents spent as much time with her in her room as possible, she had lots of toys and a radio, but 3 months of too much time alone wasn’t easy for an energetic kitten. She got lucky again and got to move to a large home with other positive cats, and she is loving being with them and her foster parents. She uses a scratching post, allows her claws to be trimmed, and enjoys short cuddling and nuzzling sessions. Like many cats, she will squirm or nip slightly to let you know if she’s getting overstimulated and needs less attention for a bit. If you’re charmed by Gigi’s info, and if she, you and your home seem compatible, please fill out and submit an application. She’s waiting to charm the right person for the rest of her life.

Story
Jinx is a fun spunky cat that was born as a farm cat but raised as a in-home trained cat. She is 4 years old and still acts like a kitten when it’s play time. She would thrive best as a single cat as she doesn’t do well with sharing toys, litter boxes, or spaces with other cats as she gets territorial with cat trees and toys. Jinx will also thrive better without kids as the noises and movements of kids scare and overwhelm her causing her a lot of stress as she’s never lived with them before. Jinx is loving towards people, she will be timid at first but she loves to cuddle, play with cat balls, and climb up high, she will also run around with you and follow you. She loves to hide as well it’s her favorite thing, other then catnip and playing with people.

Story
Hi&#44 Im Nick. Im a 3-year-old boy with a soft spirit and a quiet way of moving through the world. I came from a home with lots of other cats&#44 so Im still learning what it feels like to have space of my own and people who want to get to know me.

Right now&#44 I can be a little shy. New places and new faces make me want to tuck myself into a cozy corner until I feel safe again. But if youre patient and willing to go slow&#44 youll start to see me peek out&#44 get curious&#44 and maybe even lean in for gentle affection. Im not the kind of cat who opens up overnight - Im the kind who blossoms with steady kindness and a calm home.

If youre looking for a sweet&#44 quiet companion who just needs someone willing to make the effort to draw him out&#44 Id love the chance to grow with you.

Story
Hi there... Im Tomato&#44 a 2-year-old girl with a soft heart and a gentle spirit. Im the kind of cat who likes to take life slowly. New places and new people can feel a little overwhelming for me at first&#44 so Ill need someone patient who understands that trust grows one tiny step at a time.

Ive lived with other cats before and do well with calm&#44 respectful feline friends. What Im really hoping for is a quiet&#44 peaceful home where I can feel safe-somewhere without young children or too much noise. Once I settle in&#44 Ill show you my sweet side: quiet companionship&#44 soft blinks&#44 and the joy of watching the world from a cozy spot.

If youre looking for a gentle soul to love and are willing to give me the time I need to blossom&#44 I think we could be a perfect match.
