Calico kittens & cats in Roeland Park, Kansas

Hey my friends! My name is Lassie and I am a one-year-old sweet calico. I'm looking for a special human to love immensely, cuddle frequently, amuse occasionally (see the photo of me lounging on the couch) and be my forever best friend. I am what you would call a "special needs" cat as I have to have a steroid gel prescription applied to the inner flap of one of my ears on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's. This medication suppresses regrowth of a non-malignant sore in my mouth. Since I do not need it daily, a six-month supply equates to under $10 a month. (My foster mom did the math, I am not good at using a calculator.) While I may not be for everyone, I deeply believe that my forever human is out there ready to be showered with unconditional love and purrs. I will greet you every morning when you wake up. If you want to throw me over your shoulder and carry me around the house, I am happy with that too. My foster mommy says I have the most darling face and beautiful calico coat. In a house with only black cats, I definitely do stand out. I get along with other cats as long as the other cat isn't a meanie. I have been around dogs in my previous life but I think I would be okay with a gentle giant. Oh, and I love kids. The more, the merrier! Paprika is a special kitten who just needs some time to warm up. When she feels comfortable, she reveals her sweet and playful nature. She loves being close to you and having her belly rubbed. Paprika is looking for a patient family who will take the time to acclimate her slowly. With patience and love, she will gradually warm up and become a devoted companion. This cutie is named Sasha Fierce (after Beyonce's Altor Ego) but simply goes by Sasha. She is a 2 year old Calico mix. She was born on 03/03/2021. We rescued her from the Independence Animal Shelter in Independence, MO. She is very talkative and spunky. She has been raised around 1 dog and another cat in our household. Prior to her adoption, she lived with a foster mom that had 5 other cats/kittens. Sasha definitely ruled the household! She gets along with the dog and cat. Sasha loves to cuddle or just simply lay in the bed with you and chill. We recently had a baby, and though Sasha is outstanding with our baby, we no longer have the space or time to give her the attention she requires. 3 pets and a newborn is too much for us right now. She loves the baby and responds to her when she cries. Though my heart breaks to make this very hard decision, I am looking for a loving home for Sasha that will take great care of her and carry on conversations with her all day :-) .

I bought her off someone a few months ago and she’s got all her shots and shes fixed and shes chipped, she is a great lap cat and loves to cuddle and she loves attention, she just need a home where there is someone for her to be with for long periods of time, i am unable to be home for long from my busy schedule so she gets lonely and she doesn’t get along with my dog so it creates another complication to keep them separated

Stella is muted calico who loves her cat tree.  She is a little shy but in a patient home she will come around. She is the first one to the food bowl and will let you pet her while she eats.  She has a wonderful purr and loves to snuggle with the other cats
