This sweet 9-year-old cat is looking for a new home where she can be the only pet. She is healthy with no known medical issues, but she's become stressed living with other cats and would thrive in a calm, animal-free environment. She’s a little shy until she gets comfortable with you. Once she does though she turns into a snuggle buddy. She deserves a peaceful home where she can relax, feel secure, and get all the love and attention she needs.

Peaches and her son, Onyx, used to fend for themselves outside. A kind person took them in during a blizzard in Kansas City. Now Peaches and Onyx have grown to appreciate the comforts of life indoors and have no desire to venture outside. At about five months old, Onyx is coal black with just a little bit of white on his belly. He appreciates tasty food and playing with toys. He's a brave boy who shows his mama the ropes, letting her know that the world isn't so scary. Onyx is very loving and purrs like a big engine. Peaches is about two years old; she was just a baby herself when she had Onyx, but has learned so much from him. Peaches has started to trust humans and is learning to like pets and scratches. If you're patient with her, Peaches will reward you with her love, attention, and purrs. Both kitties have very good manners and are a joy to have. Peaches and Onyx would do best in an adult-only home with patient people. After all, it's not easy to go from living on the street to having everything you've always wanted right before your eyes: a warm, cozy place to sleep; regular, nutritious meals; fresh water; shelter from the rain and snow; and humans who are nice to you. Meet Tipper! Remember the outgoing, friendly, genuinely nice kid in school liked by everyone? That's Tipper! She's the class president, the pep squad leader, and the one hugging friends having a rough day. Tipper loves everyone! She's not shy about seeking attention, either. She's a lap kitty through and through: If you go to sit down, she'll be on your lap before your behind hits the cushion. At about 7 years old, Tipper is no "senior" at heart. She's a silly, playful kitty who loves rolling around on the floor with her toys. She's good with other cats. As for the dachshunds in her current home, they've all reached an understanding that ignoring each other is the best course of action. So, if you have respectful dogs that won't be all up in Tipper's business, they will probably do just fine together. You'd never know it when you meet her, but Tipper has had a rough time of it lately. Her owner passed away, and her owner's friend took her in. Somehow, Tipper wound up abandoned in a motel room, malnourished and looking pretty rough. Her owner's dad has Tipper now, but he can't keep her. This tiny, doll-faced girl is so petite she looks like a six-month-old kitten, but don't let that fool you. She is a fully grown woman who has already raised two litters and has clearly decided that it is now her time to play. And play she does. Cherry Mimosa is absolutely mad for it. Every toy, all the time, for hours on end. Naps are merely a brief intermission before the next act begins — a quick reset, and she is right back at it, ready to go. Her energy is genuinely impressive, and watching her tear around with the enthusiasm of someone who has decided this is her era is nothing short of delightful. Despite her tiny frame, Cherry Mimosa has a big, easy heart. She gets along beautifully with other cats and dogs alike, making her one of the most adaptable, easy-to-love little souls you'll ever meet. She spent her early years taking care of others. Now it's someone's turn to take care of her — with all the toys she could ever want and a home that matches her sparkle. Cherry Mimosa is tiny, she is mighty, and she is absolutely ready for her next chapter.
