Story
If you look at this little girl’s left ear, you will notice she has an eartip. That means she was trapped from a feral cat colony to be spayed/vaccinated and released. Sometimes we find some that are actually not feral just timid and scared. So, we decided to keep Janie with us and work on her socialization. She has come so far and we all love her but she is still timid and cautious with strangers. She will take a bit of time to trust you but she will and then she is like a dog. She waits for you at the door and is so happy to see you. She gets along good with other cats and loves to play. Give her a chance, you wont be sorry! Janie, girl, born approx. 2017

Story
Monkey, a 13-year-old front-declawed calico kitty, is super sweet and affectionate. Her dad passed away a few months ago and she's in need of a new home now. She would like a home where she gets a lot of attention and love, as her dad was a retired gentleman and doted on her all her life. She sure misses him. Nosey, a younger sister to Monkey, is a 5-year-old, female spayed grey tabby. She's also affectionate and loving and gets along famously with Monkey. They can be adopted into separate homes; however, Nosey does not like any other cats but Monkey, so Nosey will need to be in a single-cat household if these two are separated. Please call/text The Pet Connection at 913-671-7387 if you're interested in making Nosey and/or Monkey part of your family. They are in the KC metro but transport might be available to the right home.

Story
Cali is 2 years old now. We found her in the middle of the street when she was only 2 weeks old barely alive! We nursed her back to health and now she is healthy and a sassy loving and a playful adult. We have tried to make it work to keep her, but when we found her we were in no place to keep another kitty! Our elder cat doesn’t like the disruption in her ‘only child’ life either, so we really want to find a good home for Cali. She needs a home that feels safe to her, has a routine, and plenty of love and discipline. She can be very scared and skittish in new situations or with new people, so needs time to warm up and feel safe in her environment. She is still rambunctious like a kitty but growing into her adulthood nicely and starting to calm down. She has a lot of character and needs her boundaries too. We love her so much and want her to have a good home!

Story
This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period.  While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and he will tend to avoid interaction.  This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. He is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for him to have a home of his own where he could continue to thrive.
