Story
Hope is a sweet 16 year old female Senior, that spends most of her time sleeping. Some days she has more energy than others. She tolerates other animals, but due to her age, she would do better in a home with less stress and energy. She enjoys to lay in the sun and some days even to go on the deck. She currently has another kitty that she has been raised with her, that is 8 years old. Sometimes they play together, and sleep together. Hope is declawed in the front paws, so she would need protection if she ever went outside.

Story
If you look at this little girlт€™s left ear, you will notice she has an eartip. That means she was trapped from a feral cat colony to be spayed/vaccinated and released. Sometimes we find some that are actually not feral just timid and scared. So, we decided to keep Janie with us and work on her socialization. She has come so far and we all love her but she is still timid and cautious with strangers. She will take a bit of time to trust you but she will and then she is like a dog. She waits for you at the door and is so happy to see you. She gets along good with other cats and loves to play. Give her a chance, you wont be sorry! Janie, girl, born approx. 2017

Story
Her name is Kitana. My partner and I had found her on the side of the road and she has been such a lovable kitty. She loves pets and she definitely loves her snacks. She is about 1 years and 6 months old. Unfortunately dude to landlord requirements, My partner and I can no longer keep her. As heartbreaking as it is. We want her to go to a nice home where she will be loved and taken care of properly. Where she'll be showered with affection! She loves to play with her fish on a stick and loves her laser toy!

These pups are in Raytown, Missouri too!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please contact Teri (terik@tarasdream.org) for more information about this pet. About T.A.R.A. | Adopt | Volunteer | Donate Shadow is a sweet cat looking for his forever home after being abandoned by his previous owner. Shadow is a friendly, outgoing 8 year old male. He is shy at first, but once he trusts you he will warm up to you. He enjoys rubbing his chin on his fosters hand for affection.  He will probably do best as an only cat. Shadow is a diabetic kitty. Shadow is currently with a foster family, and they are doing a great job keeping  his diabetes under control by closely monitoring his diet, blood sugar and insulin levels daily. Shadow will need this daily care to keep him healthy and stable so he can enjoy many more years. The foster family can give you all the details needed to care for this sweet guy! Adoption Fee: $75 TARA's adoption fee includes: spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, FIV/FeLV Combo test, and deworming. A two-week trial is included as part of the adoption. Because we do not know the background of many of our cats, we cannot guarantee exact age or breed. Adoption centers may not have a volunteer present to open the cat enclosures, and we have foster homes located throughout the KC metro area. Please fill out an application if you'd like to meet this cat. Interested in this pet? Please fill out a non-binding application. Our goal is to find life-long matches between animals and families, and the application provides us with a lot of information to help us help you find that match!  May 3, 2024, 2:26 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Khabibi and Berti are four-year-old female tortoiseshell sisters. These lovable and sweet kitties are bonded and need to be adopted together. Both are spayed, microchipped, in good health, and are up-to-date on shots. Khabibi definitely has a TON of personality and is the dominant one.  Super smart, playful, talkative, adventurous, loves to be petted and talked too.  Bertie is more reserved, but super sweet/cuddly and also loves to play and be talked to.  They also love each other very much, and often sleep/eat/play together.    They recently lost their beloved owner and need a loving forever home.
