Story
I adopted Mayla from a humane society when she was estimated to be around 6 months old. She was found as a stray and is about 10 years old, born in the summertime of 2012. She is incredibly snuggly, she loves to lay on your chest, whether your sitting upright or laying down, and make herself comfy right in your neck. She generally likes to sleep and rest, but she can get playful at times! Mayla likes a quiet, calm home. In our home with another cat and dog, as well as a toddler, Mayla has struggled to adjust to a crazier, more rushed life and this has caused her anxiety in our home. I am hoping to find her a home with no pets (especially no cats) and she does very well with older children. Mayla is not declawed.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *Bonded with Little Rhett*Let me introduce you to the amazing Miss Dolly, a former outdoor cat with a heartwarming story. She is bonded with her baby, Little Rhett, and they must be adopted together. This makes Dolly eligible for the Mom and Me Program, where her adoption fee is only $25. A little background: Her name was inspired by Dolly Parton's timeless song, "Coat of Many Colors," perfectly capturing her exquisite and diverse coat. Over the past 2-3 years, Miss Dolly played a vital role in the neighborhood by caring for at least two litters of kittens. Miss Dolly has made incredible strides socially, although she still experiences moments of timidity and fear. While she might tolerate a calm and gentle dog, she could be a bit salty with another mature cat. Although Miss Dolly isn't fond of being held, she adores being petted or brushed while snuggled on the bed or sitting by your side in a chair. Miss Dolly and Little Rhett share a beautiful bond filled with playful antics and cozy naps together. Miss Dolly is from a stray surrender. Story
This cat was given to me by one of my coworkers. I had no prior knowledge on this cat or that I would get this cat. I have not been able to contact my coworker and I’ve known for a while that my coworker does not want any of the pets that she had/has. I’m not sure what to do, my mom doesn’t know I have the kitten. I can’t have this kitten, this kitten needs a new home. I’m only 18 and I work all the time, I really need help finding this kitten a new place to live. She’s (the kitten) is very skiddish and she seems kinda traumatized. I really cannot take care of a kitten right now… She’s a very pretty kitty and I’m sure she would love to have a home with someone caring and patient. This cat really seems like she needs love.

Story
Has she been aggressive? - Plays aggressively. She likes to pounce then she runs away playfully to people she is familiar with. She growls at strangers. Always sensitive to touch? - She was a rescue. Yes is very anxious. She does not like people in her personal space. She does not like touch unless she initiates it. has something changed with the moving process? - We travel a lot. Every time we travel she gets naughty. Pouncing more often. Incidentally she does scratch. She is not aggressive to people she is familiar with. But her games are rough. I normally give her Gabapentin if she gets her nails cut.
