Tigger, ‘Tigs’, was given to us by a neighbor whose indoor cat had recently had a litter of kittens. We got him when he was old enough to be away from him mom. He is 6 1/2 years old. He is neutered and declawed and was up to date on his shots as of 2 years ago. We did not keep up on any additional vaccinations since then as he has not been around other cats since he was born and does not go outside. He is a very loving cat so will jump up to sit on your lap when you sit down to watch TV or read a book. He typically follows me around the house when I am home and just sits and waits for me to go to the next room. He is very good with our kids. He really only meows when he is hungry. We are sad we are not able to keep him but our new home will not allow it.

Angie Baby is a sweet little girl. She loves to be held and loves to play. She gets along with other cats, small dogs and children. She is ideal for any type of owner: a single person, an elderly person, a couple, a family with kids, as an only pet or with other cats &/or dogs. She was born in November 2025. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in TN but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

I adopted Tuna Melt from the humane society in 2024. She had been found in an abandoned house before being brought to the shelter. While she is an amazing cat, she requires someone with patience because it takes her a long time to open up. She can be a bit grumpy and hissy with new people. However, once she trusts you she can be affectionate and cuddly on her terms. She doesn't do well with other cats or children. She loves the cat tunnel, wet food, tube treats, playtime with the cat wand, and sleeping on the couch. Big windows to watch birds is also a plus!

Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Toni and Gumdrop are two affectionate kittens looking for their forever home!These two are the dynamic duo you didn’t know you needed! Toni is a 6 month old, energetic grey kitten that likes to be around her human friends. Gumdrop is an 11 month old calico with lots of love to give! Toni’s day consists of playing, sleeping, and rough housing with Gumdrop. They are very close and make a perfect pair! Gumdrop’s hind legs are limited with running and jumping and she deals with daily sneezing. But this won’t stop her from climbing stairs and getting around just fine — she is healthy in all other respects! Hadley is a strikingly beautiful tuxedo cat with a story that reflects both resilience and the importance of understanding animal boundaries. Hadley came to us after experiencing a highly stressful and overwhelming situation in her previous home. She was placed in circumstances far beyond what any cat should have to navigate, and in that environment she became frightened and reactive as a way of protecting herself. In rescue, she has shown us something very important: Hadley is not a “general placement” cat. She is an individual who requires a very specific kind of home and a very intentional kind of person. What we know about Hadley today is that she can be a wonderful companion when she feels safe, but she has very clear limits around handling, change, and especially other animals. Because of her history and her responses under stress, she must go to a strictly adult-only home with no children and absolutely no other pets—no exceptions. She needs an environment where she will not be asked to adapt to other animals or unpredictable social situations. Hadley’s future adopter will need to deeply respect her autonomy. She is not a cat who should be pushed for affection or forced into interaction. Instead, she thrives with calm presence, patience, and allowing her to choose the pace and level of engagement.
