Story
3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Mellie is a resilient little feline who has braved the harsh Minnesota winters as a stray, and now she's ready to embrace the warmth and comfort of a loving home. This adorable "fluffy potato" is seeking a quiet sanctuary where she can truly blossom. Mellie thrives in a peaceful environment, making her the perfect companion for a calm household, ideally without children or other pets. She cherishes her quiet time with her humans, offering endless affection in return. While not a high-energy cat, Mellie enjoys playtime, engaging in short bursts before settling down for a well-deserved nap. Prepare for constant companionship, as Mellie's favorite pastime is receiving pets! She'll gracefully roll around like a "roly-poly," inviting belly rubs and thoroughly enjoying chin scratches. This gentle, shy girl may take a little time to adjust to a new space, but with patience and love, her goofy and affectionate side will undoubtedly shine through. Mellie communicates through delightful purrs and charming little grunts – she's not much of a meower! Her days revolve around delicious meals, invigorating playtime with her beloved long chew toys and string toys, and indulgent grooming sessions before her naps. Her absolute favorite moments are spent receiving abundant pets and showering her humans with affection, often expressed by rolling upside down and proudly displaying her belly for rubs. If you're seeking a devoted, quiet, and incredibly sweet companion to fill your home with warmth and soft purrs, Mellie is eagerly waiting to become your cherished family member. Give this deserving "little potato" the loving home she's always dreamed of! Mellie is from a stray surrender. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. **Bonded to Zara**Meet Masala! Masala is a beautiful, stocky girl with a big heart and a touch of sass. She loves cuddling and, especially when she’s with her sister, purrs up a storm. While being held isn’t her favorite, she truly enjoys affection, pets, and happily making biscuits for her people. Masala can be a bit vocal and expressive when she’s bored or feeling cooped up, and she has shown some mild nippiness in those moments. With more space to explore and mental stimulation, she is expected to thrive and show her best self. In the right environment, Masala has all the potential to truly blossom. She enjoys toys but is a little less active than her sister Zara, preferring a calmer play style. Masala has not yet been introduced to other resident cats and would likely do best with slow, patient introductions. Overall, she is a good, affectionate kitty who will reward a loving home with cuddles, purrs, and plenty of biscuit-making moments.  Masala is from an owner surrender with her sister Zara , and they must be adopted together. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. MissGray’s story began tucked away in a woodpile, where she was born into a small colony of outdoor cats. Thanks to a compassionate property owner, she and her feline family became part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program and were able to live safely in an insulated garage. Her days were filled with companionship—especially with her mother, who was her closest friend. They hunted together, played chase, and curled up side by side for warmth and comfort. Recently, MissGray’s mother did not return, leaving her to face the world on her own. Despite this loss, MissGray has shown remarkable resilience. The property owner decided to bring her indoors to see how she would adjust, and she has truly surprised everyone. MissGray is doing wonderfully in her indoor foster home and is learning that this new world is a safe and loving place. She has excellent litter box manners and is gaining confidence each day. While she may be shy at first, after about a week she began greeting her foster mom at the door, rubbing against her foster dad’s legs, and meowing to say hello. Once she trusts you, she loves to show her belly and ask for pets. She has even started climbing into her foster mom’s lap and will happily relax there for a few minutes at a time. MissGray enjoys human companionship and would thrive in a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom at her own pace. She has been introduced to other cats and seems to enjoy feline company, though slow, thoughtful introductions to new cats will be important. MissGray is truly a sweet soul with incredibly soft fur, and a heart that’s learning to trust again. She’s ready for a loving home where she can feel safe, cherished, and never alone again. Story
Location: Maple Grove, MN Hello, I'm Angel! I'm sure you can see why-just look at my beautiful white fur! I'm a 12-year-old senior kitty with a heart full of love to give. I may not hear as well as I used to (I am deaf) so it can take me a little time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. But once I do, I'll shower you with the loudest purrs, sweet nuzzles, and endless cuddles. I also enjoy curling up in a cozy spot by the window, watching the birds, and basking in the sunshine. But don't let my age fool you-I still have plenty of playful energy, especially when a feather toy is involved! I'd thrive in a calm, peaceful and patient home where I can get all the love and attention I deserve. I'm good with older children and would be happiest as the only pet. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Eagan Petsmart Hi I’m Licorice!! I’m a super silly, energetic and sweet little boy!! You will often find me looking for a friend to play with, a toy to climb or play with! I’m very fast when I run!! I also love a good snuggle!! My foster mom says I have the prettiest fur color…I am black but my under coat is a beautiful chocolate brown! The vet says I have retinal dysplasia possibly from being sick as a kitten, I had a rough start in life, but they don’t think it affects my vision and I definitely don’t act like it does. But because of this I will need routine vet visits/follow ups. There is no cure or way to stop anything and it may affect my vision later in life but I know I can adjust if needed. I know I will just wiggle right into your hearts when you meet me! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
