Charlotte was born last August to a family that didn’t give her much attention. Then she was brought to a local shelter where she was very scared. Since coming to The Cottage she has begun to feel comfortable. She likes her kitty friends and loves to be able to hang out in the catio. She has begun to trust people and likes pets. 3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Louise spent the first 5–6 weeks of her life in a feral colony, and because of that, she’s still finding her confidence with people. She may be timid at first, but she’s also curious, observant, and quietly playful. Pull out a wand toy or a teaser, and you’ll see her little personality sparkle—she absolutely comes alive during playtime, and it’s one of the fastest ways to warm her heart. Louise has made steady progress in the short time she’s been inside. She allows petting, tolerates being picked up, and feels especially secure when she’s in her safe space. She does sometimes run and hide when approached, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she’s showing more and more trust each day. This sweet girl loves treats—especially salmon or tuna puree—and will happily take them right from your hand. She’s also wonderful with other cats and enjoys snuggling up with them or joining in on their games. Louise is also a litter box superstar and has never had an accident. She adjusted to indoor life like a pro and is truly a joy to have around! While she hasn’t been introduced to dogs or other cats yet, she absolutely adores playing with her siblings. Ginny is an independent girl with a spunky streak, but she’ll happily come find you for affection when she’s ready—usually right after an epic play session. She LOVES her toys, especially bouncy balls, springs, and anything she can zoom through or pounce on. Watching her rocket in and out of the tunnel is entertainment all on its own!  Here’s a cute video of Ginny playing with her siblings. Location: Maple Grove, MN Hello, I'm Angel! I'm sure you can see why-just look at my beautiful white fur! I'm a 12-year-old senior kitty with a heart full of love to give. I may not hear as well as I used to (I am deaf) so it can take me a little time to feel safe and comfortable in new surroundings. But once I do, I'll shower you with the loudest purrs, sweet nuzzles, and endless cuddles. I also enjoy curling up in a cozy spot by the window, watching the birds, and basking in the sunshine. But don't let my age fool you-I still have plenty of playful energy, especially when a feather toy is involved! I'd thrive in a calm, peaceful and patient home where I can get all the love and attention I deserve.
