Since coming to The Cottage she has begun to feel comfortable. She likes her kitty friends and loves to be able to hang out in the catio. She has begun to trust people and likes pets. 3 yr, 5 months Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. Luna was born on the college campus in Marshall, Minnesota just after Labor Day. Too young to make it through the winter! We rescued her and she was almost immediately tamed. She is smart, sweet, affectionate and playful, but shy. She has great situational awareness. Love cheese, milk, and Churro treats. She does not have any behavioral or health issues. She does not seek to go outdoors, but likes looking at the birds through the window. We have a quiet home, and don't know how well she would adapt to a noisier place or with young children.
