Story
Zoey is an independent cat. She can be affectionate, but on her own terms. She loves to be outside on the deck or in a window watching all types of wildlife. She does get along with other cats and dogs as well as kids, but I think she would best thrive in a home without other pets and no children or mature children - a quite household.

Story
Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612-202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). ~*~*~* Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/cattalesmn *~*~*~*~*

Story
Meet Summer! This affectionate, easy-going, and confident calico/torby was born in April 2024. When you come home you’ll find Summer watching for you at the window. She will greet you at the door, entwine around your legs, then follow you around the house. Summer tolerates being picked up and held upright plus gives kitty kisses. When you are sitting, she often jumps into your lap or lets you place her there. Summer will stay for short sessions of petting or brushing, then she is off to investigate. Sometimes she just likes to sit near you. Summer likes to have a perch high enough to be able to watch wildlife out the window. She plays by herself with cat toys and interactively with wand toys. She is quiet until meal times when she lets you know you to hurry. Summer is on the dominate side with most cats. She hasn’t met dogs and if kids are respectful plus gentle, she should do fine with them. She eats a prescription diet of Biome or i/d cat food. Summer has fine litterbox habits and uses a scratching post. This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Calicos and Siamese are $250+tx. Story
I found their mother as a stray and took her in. Unfortunately, my male cat got her pregnant, and she had kittens. I am now in the process of moving and, sadly, I am unable to take all of the cats with me. For this reason, I am looking for loving and responsible homes where they can be well cared for.

Story
I adopted Tuna Melt from the humane society in 2024. She had been found in an abandoned house before being brought to the shelter. While she is an amazing cat, she requires someone with patience because it takes her a long time to open up. She can be a bit grumpy and hissy with new people. However, once she trusts you she can be affectionate and cuddly on her terms. She doesn't do well with other cats or children. She loves the cat tunnel, wet food, tube treats, playtime with the cat wand, and sleeping on the couch. Big windows to watch birds is also a plus!

Story
Location: Columbia Heights, MN Stick Stickly, affectionately nicknamed “Sprout” by her foster mom, is becoming sweeter each and every day. She’s still getting comfortable being around people, but she’s come a long way. While still shy, she will join you on the couch for playtime and in bed for sleeptime! I believe she would do best in a home with another cat. She loves her sister, Melon, but she’s just as likely to cuddle with the resident cats. She’s affectionate with the resident dog so I think she would do fine with dogs after slow introductions. I think given time, she will become a very sweet member of the right family. *Originated from: Shelter in Minnesota. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Location: Plymouth Petsmart Meet Violet! Violet is a cute, cuddly gal with the sweetest soul. She is a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe and comfortable, her gentle and loving personality shines through. She loves cozy snuggles, gentle affection, and being close to her people. Violet is looking for a patient, loving forever home where she can take her time coming out of her shell and show you just how special she is. Give this shy girl a little love, and you’ll have a loyal cuddle buddy for life. Story
Location: Beresford, SD Devyn is a breathtakingly beautiful black cat with a glossy midnight coat and striking eyes that reflect every bit of her intelligence and curiosity. At just 2 years old, she already carries herself with the elegance and quiet confidence of a feline queen. Curious by nature, Devyn loves to explore her surroundings and observe from a safe, elevated spot. She’s fascinated by the world around her, but she prefers to approach everything-especially people-in her own time. Devyn has some trust issues and can be cautious with new humans, but she’s making steady progress. Her foster mom is gently earning her trust day by day, and Devyn is showing more and more of her sweet, inquisitive personality. Devyn isn’t shy about expressing her feelings. She is very vocal when she’s unhappy or uncomfortable, making her a cat who communicates clearly and honestly. Her ideal home is one where her boundaries are respected and her cues are understood. She does get along well with both dogs and other cats, as long as they respect her space and don’t overwhelm her. Calm, patient companions-furry or human-will help her shine. Devyn is looking for someone who sees the beauty in letting a relationship unfold naturally. With patience, understanding, and love, she’ll reward you with trust, companionship, and her own special brand of charm. *Originated from: South Dakota Reservation. -------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
