Tigger, ‘Tigs’, was given to us by a neighbor whose indoor cat had recently had a litter of kittens. We got him when he was old enough to be away from him mom. He is 6 1/2 years old. He is neutered and declawed and was up to date on his shots as of 2 years ago. We did not keep up on any additional vaccinations since then as he has not been around other cats since he was born and does not go outside. He is a very loving cat so will jump up to sit on your lap when you sit down to watch TV or read a book. He typically follows me around the house when I am home and just sits and waits for me to go to the next room. He is very good with our kids. He really only meows when he is hungry. We are sad we are not able to keep him but our new home will not allow it.

Meet Dotty! <3 Dotty and her mom, Delilah, were found abandoned at a farm and turned over to Rescue. Dotty, a beautiful calico, was born around May 2020. She is quiet, affectionate on her terms with trusted people, and avoidant of strangers. Dotty enjoys window watching and playing with wand toys as long as there is no competition. She is on the passive side and really enjoys Delilah’s companionship. Dotty likes a little bit of petting and brushing. She does not like being picked up and prefers to sit near you. She gets along with most cats. Dotty has not met dogs, nor kids under age nine, but if they are gentle and quiet she will be fine. Are you the patient person willing to give her time to trust and blossom? This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. Some special breeds are $250+tax. I adopted Tuna Melt from the humane society in 2024. She had been found in an abandoned house before being brought to the shelter. While she is an amazing cat, she requires someone with patience because it takes her a long time to open up. She can be a bit grumpy and hissy with new people. However, once she trusts you she can be affectionate and cuddly on her terms. She doesn't do well with other cats or children. She loves the cat tunnel, wet food, tube treats, playtime with the cat wand, and sleeping on the couch. Big windows to watch birds is also a plus!

Meet Wren 🐾 Wren’s story began in a warehouse, where this tiny little girl was found all alone at just 3 weeks old. There was no mama cat, no siblings, and no one to care for her. She was covered in fleas and already fighting so hard to survive. Thankfully, Wren found her way into rescue, where her amazing foster family stepped in and bottle-fed her, cared for her, and gave her all the love she needed to grow. Against the odds, this little fighter thrived. ❤️ Now, at 3 months old, Wren is a beautiful calico/tortie with a BIG personality to match her adorable face. She is opinionated, sassy, playful, and incredibly cuddly. She knows what she wants and isn't afraid to let you know it! Once she's ready for snuggles, though, she's happy to curl up with her people and soak up all the affection. Wren is also wonderfully social and does great with other cats, dogs, and gentle children. She has come such a long way from the tiny, flea-covered kitten fighting to survive in that warehouse. Founf under a shed, she came to our home as a tiny kitty. Now 12 yrs old. She is a definate indoor cat. No claws, and fixed. She hides from strangers and avoids other pets but is fine with them. That's our problem.. we have too many. My whole family moved back and brought all of their pets. She's stressed and showing bad behavior. No one needs to live under stress. She needs to be rehomed where she can be happy again.

Our cat was under a year old and had not yet been spayed when she had a litter of five kittens. We’ve been fortunate enough to find homes for three of them with people we know, but we still have two kittens looking for their forever homes. Both kittens are male and very friendly. They are comfortable around people and get along great with our dog. They have been accustomed to living in our garage and spending time outdoors. We also have an older cat who unfortunately does not get along with the kittens, so we’re hoping to find good homes for these two where they can have the attention and space they need.
