Looking to rehome our three year old cat, Juneau. Independent cat who likes to be in close proximity of her owners; she will let you know when she wants love. With small children, we simply don’t have the time to give Juneau the affection she wants. We want to find somebody who can give her love in return. She’s your classic calico who does well with other cats. She is spayed and up to date on annual appointments and vaccines. Izzy is quite calm, lovely to look at, easy, and great with people of all ages. Everyone loves petting and relaxing with her. We got Izzy from my mother's very pretty cat about two years ago. She simply is not compatible with our dog anymore. We had to make the hard choice of who stays and who goes. She is neutered and up to date on shots.

As a classic calico, Pumpkin has enough personality to power a small city. She’s fully grown at around 3 years old and weighing in at 7.4 pounds, she is a colorful mix of spunky "cali-tude" and deep, purring affection. While she happens to be FIV+ , she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit—it just means she’s an indoor queen who needs her adventures to happen in a home on her own or with other felines who are FIV+. She’s a professional nap-taker, a vocal critic of empty food bowls, and a firm believer that the best seat in the house is whichever one you’re currently sitting in. Pumpkin proves every day that a little extra health mindfulness is a small price to pay for a lifetime of vibrant, multi-colored love. If you have never heard of  FIV, it  stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus . It is the cat version of HIV; it is a virus that slowly weakens a cat’s immune system over many years. Because their immune system isn't 100%, cats with FIV are more vulnerable to common, everyday germs—like a cold or a gum infection—that a healthy cat's body would easily fight off. But don't let that scare you away from Pumpkin. FIV isn't caught through casual contact like sharing food bowls, grooming each other, or sneezing. It is usually spread through deep, aggressive bite wounds - the kind typically seen in unneutered outdoor cats fighting over territory, which is how we think Pumpkin contracted hers.  - It is for cats only : You, your dogs, or any other non-feline pets cannot catch FIV from a cat - She can live a normal life! : Most FIV-positive cats live long, happy, normal lifespans.  Many remain "asymptomatic" (showing no signs of being sick) for their entire lives. - Simple management : Most owners of FIV+ cats simply keep them as only cats or with FIV+ only cats and  ensure they get regular vet checkups to catch any small issues early. An FIV+ cat is just a regular cat that might need a little extra help staying healthy, but they are just as loving and adoptable as any other pet.  If you’d like to meet Pumpkin, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. Pumpkin needs to go to a home to be the only cat, or in a home with other FIV+ cats. You can also meet Pumpkin at our weekly adoption event every Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. PLEASE SHARE, Meet Winifred or Winnie, she is spayed, she was tested for felv/fiv and she is negative for both, she got vaccinated, flea prevention and dewormer. She will be getting her Home Again microchip asap. Poor sweet Winifred owner died and no one want her she found a sweet neighbor to feed her, he loves her but wants her to get the best home possible. This is Tatoo, she is a sweetheart, she is felv/fiv negative, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and on flea prevention. We got called about another senior in over her head.  Not only can she not afford vet cat but the living conditions are very poor.  We took 4 of the kittens to the vets 2 days ago for vet care.  Yesterday the mother and father cats got spayed/neutered.  Today another male cat neutered.  Tomorrow another male neuter. Now she told him there are 15 more cats/kittens.  She told him only 1 more adult female and 1 kitten female.  Our vet is able to neuter another male tomorrow.  The poor cats/kittens all are flea infested, have worms and ear mites.  We will be working on getting everyone spayed/neutered as fast as we can.  We will get them all treated for fleas, worms and ear mites.  We will be getting them all tested and vaccinated. They are all sweet as they can be.  I little shy at first but the minute you start loving them they are love bugs. Meet Luke and Daisy. Their parents lost their home so Luke and Daisy have no where to go. So they are with a foster right now. Luke is a big boy of a little over 17 #'s. He's 5 years old and loves Daisy a lot. He is a very sweet loving boy! Daisy is about 10#'s and is 2 years old and loves Luke a lot. Daisy is still very unsure of what happened and is shy but sweet. They are both spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and have tested negative for Fiv and leukemia. They will also be micro chipped with Home Again. They are very bonded and we want to adopted them together. That would be the Christmas Miracle they need and deserve.
