I found this little kitten outside of my apartment complex back in July of 2025, adorable and scared so I took her in. She has been a sweet heart and VERY playful. she loves to play with plastic balls, beanie babies and cardboard boxes. My two toddlers names her miso. Miso and our dog sally have been best friends since day one sleeping in the dog bed together sharing water and playing with each other daily. She loves my toddlers, she will let my 4 year old carry her around the house like a stuffed animal. But dont get me wrong if shes done getting pets she will definitely let you know when shes done. She has the most gorgeous colored fur, we love her so very much but due to financial issues were moving in with family that is very allergic to cats unfortunately. And it makes me very sad to have to give her up, I just want every opportunity to find her another loving home.

Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. Ellie is a shy but athletic and loving girl. She was adopted as a teenager in North Texas, was raised with a very active and energetic cat brother (Alex) her entire life since. She is declawed on the front and has always lived indoors. She favors being alone with Alex and her human dad when the little humans aren't around. (She even enjoys playing fetch!) Since we have decided to rehome her better half, we know we would be doing Ellie a disservice to keep her as a lonely cat. It's heartbreaking to say goodbye to our first fur babies but we know they would make another family very happy.
