Story

Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. As she is not yet confident around people, she would do best in a calm home with experienced cat owners. For more information, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com

Story

2½ years old • Female • Tabby & White⏳ Brandy is a beautiful, gentle girl with a sweet heart and just the right amount of sass. She may be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she shows her love with head bumps, full-body rubs, and even the occasional kiss—always on her terms. She’s grown up with cats, kittens, and dogs of all sizes and would do best in a home with at least one friendly cat, as she loves to play and has never been alone. At night, Brandy turns into a cuddle bug and wants to be near her person—she may even protest if the bedroom door is closed.Brandy has a spicy side and knows what she likes, so she may not be the best fit for homes with very young children. She’s picky about wet food but loves Dr. Marty’s freeze-dried chicken kibble, uses the litter box perfectly, and has no litter preferences. Her cutest quirks? She wags her tail like a dog when she’s happy, has a soft “muuuu” meow, and is a professional cat-tree pole dancer.Looking for a playful, cuddly, slightly sassy companion? Brandy is ready to go home. 🐾🖤If you are interested in adopting please complete our online application: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=lv2236&method=online_form_html&formid=43Adoption Fee is $100.00All kittens are fully vetted prior to being adopted, FVRCP, FeLV and Rabies Vaccines, FeLV / FIV Tested, Spayed / Neutered and Microchipped.

Story

Justin was found in a fast-food restaurant parking lot attempting to do some last-minute ordering. Experiencing little luck in obtaining food, he definitely lucked out with gaining shelter from the outdoors.Justin is a very sweet boy with the tiniest voice. He takes a moment to settle into new settings but will be fast friends with you once he’s comfortable. Anything is a toy to this little guy as long as he can pick them up or bat them around. Justin likes to run across the house and loves hopping into boxes. To settle down, he will wander over to the window to see what’s on the nature channel. You might even hear him chatter at those squirrels! Snuggles on the couch are also great.Playful and affectionate – Little JustinFill out an adoption application at www.classycats.orgIf you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application www.classycats.org/adoption-info/adoption-application/Your application will be reviewed upon receipt. Story

Victoria and her two very tiny kittens came to Classy Cats from a local shelter. They went to a foster home where they have been cared for. Our girl is through with her role as a mom and ready to be adopted!Victoria is a very sweet little lady who loves to be where her people are, in fact, she will follow you around to be sure she doesn’t miss anything. If she thinks she’s being ignored, she’ll speak out to be sure she’s noticed. Cuddling with a stuffed bear is on her list of nice pastimes, but laying in your lap for some tummy rubs or a quick snooze is even better.Sweet as pie and always attentive –How could you ask for anything more!Fill out an adoption application at www.classycats.orgIf you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption application www.classycats.org/adoption-info/adoption-application/Your application will be reviewed upon receipt.
