Story
Every now and again we come across a cat who isn’t like other cats, a cat who doesn’t fit any of the molds and whose behavior leaves us puzzled. Peaches is a perfect example. She and several other outdoor cats had been hanging around a warehouse, scavenging for food. She was underweight, skittish and we knew it was only a matter of time before she became pregnant. One of our intrepid fosters felt compelled to help. She managed to trap her along with two other cats, Clementine and Mr. Apple, and introduced them to indoor living. While they have all made huge progress in adapting to their new life, Peaches is still a little wary around people but her body language suggests that, deep down, she really does want to trust them. She follows her foster mom around the house and she loves to play with toys. She will flip over on her back and expose her belly, but quickly recoil when anyone tries to pet her. Peaches enjoys playing games on the kitty iPad and she loves playing with her feline buddies. She’s just not quite ready for a touchy-feely relationship with a human. She is very food motivated and would probably be happiest in a home with one of her feline friends or another young cat. As she is not yet confident around people, she would do best in a calm home with experienced cat owners. For more information, please contact us at animaladvocatesofnorthtexas@ymail.com

Meet Ayra ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS/FT WORTH METROPLEX MEET AND GREET APPOINTMENTS SET UP WITH PRE-APPROVED APPLICATION ONLY Ayra and her 3 kittens were taken in by a rescue friend so when she asked for help with finding them forever homes how could we say no! They are absolutely stunning with gorgeous markings. ! Mama Ayra is very affectionate and talkative. All of the cats including Mama love playing with each other so would do well adopted in pairs or into homes with other cats. They have learned to tolerate/scare off my dog but I wouldn’t say that they get along. If you would like to meet Ayra, the first step in the process is to complete an application. Please go to roadtrip4paws.com and click on the Adopt tab to find a link to our online application We reserve the right to refuse placement of an animal for any reason

Story
Hello, My name is Pepper! I am a Domestic Shorthair Calico! I am 1.5 years old! I love to play with toys, steal socks, and take naps. The reason for Pepper's rehoming is because my fiancée is allergic to cats and she can't handle them being around anymore. Pepper is a fantastic cat and would be a great addition to your home.

These cats are in Haltom City, Texas too!

Story
Meet Sriracha 🌶️ Sriracha is a delightful 3–4-month-old kitten with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is an affectionate, playful girl who truly loves being part of the action in her home. Whether she’s zooming around chasing toys or curling up close for snuggles, Sriracha brings joy and laughter wherever she goes. This sweet girl is a huge purr box and shows her affection freely to everyone in the household. She is incredibly social, loves people of all ages, and would be a wonderful fit for a home with children. Sriracha thrives on interaction and enjoys being involved in whatever her humans are doing, making her a fantastic companion for an active, loving family. Sriracha has been FIV/FeLV tested (negative) and has received her first round of vaccines. She has not yet been spayed, but she does have a scheduled spay appointment with TCAP, or a spay voucher will be provided for her adopter if needed. Any remaining vaccines will be the responsibility of her future family. If you’re looking for a kitten who is equal parts cuddly, playful, and full of charm, Sriracha is ready to grow into an amazing lifelong companion. She’s truly the kind of cat who will fill your home with love, warmth, and constant purring.

Story
This little boy is such a mess. All he wants is to be loved on and played with; he will literally demand it by grabbing your hand or foot and "attack" it. When you sit down near him, he will come running to you so he can crawl into your lap and play. Once he wears himself out, he makes the perfect snuggle partner. All cats adopted through our shelter will be vaccinated, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before going to their new home.
