Callie is a sweet girl who takes a moment to warm up to new people but then just wants to lay in bed with you and chill out. She would be great as an only pet and would flourish in an adult household.

Story
Calpernia or Callie, is a calico cat that is 12 years old. She is a sweet snuggler and loves to lay on the couch next to you for pets. She is not on any medication and eats dry food exclusively. I call her my gentle soul. She lived with dogs, both medium and large ones from the time she was a kitten, so she has no problem with them. Her brother, Mr Pennyworth (also known as PenPen) is also up for rehoming on this site (he is an orange and white medium hair cat), and they have always lived together, never been separated. I am hoping to rehome them together, but if that is not possible, I understand.

Meet Aspen Aspen has done an incredible job raising her four beautiful kittens, Oakley, Fern, Juniper, and Clover, and now it's her turn to find a loving forever home. This devoted mama is the perfect blend of gentle, loving, and resilient. After spending her days caring for her babies, Aspen is ready to enjoy the comforts of being someone's cherished companion. She has a sweet, calm nature and loves a cozy spot to relax, gentle pets, and quiet moments with her people. Aspen's Perfect Home A loving family ready to spoil her after months of motherhood A calm environment where she can relax and thrive A home that appreciates a gentle, affectionate companion Favorite Activities: Lounging in sunny windows, Receiving chin scratches and pets, Watching the world go by, and Enjoying the peace and quiet she has earned Born: July 16, 2024 Aspen and her babies were living outside and came to Meowtown before their finder moved so that they could have a better life and find forever homes. At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house. Story
From her foster mom, Renee: Pookie may only have three legs, but apparently no one has told Pookie that she's supposed to be any different. This sweet little girl is playful, confident, affectionate, and absolutely loves people. She follows her foster family around the house, happily joins them on the couch, and the moment you pick her up, the purring starts. She's a genuine lap kitty with a gentle, kind personality who seems to think being loved is exactly what life is supposed to be about. Of course, Pookie has priorities. First comes playtime. She loves springs, little felt balls, tiny mice, and anything else she can chase around. Once she's satisfied that she's gotten in the appropriate amount of fun, she's ready to settle down on the couch with her people for some serious cuddle time. Pookie's beginning wasn't nearly as easy. When she was only about five weeks old, she was found crawling out from underneath a house with a string tightly wrapped around her left back leg. The damage was permanent, and ultimately her leg had to be amputated. But Pookie adapted beautifully. She's now an adorable little tri-pawd who gets around well and doesn't let having three legs keep her from playing, exploring, following her people, or enjoying life. She just needs a family willing to make a few accommodations to help protect her remaining rear leg for the long haul. Pookie isn't a jumper, and her home should be arranged so she doesn't need to jump down from high surfaces. Keeping her at a healthy weight will also be especially important so her remaining back leg doesn't have to carry unnecessary extra stress. Pookie is good with both cats and dogs and would enjoy having another friendly kitten or cat for companionship. She can also do well with older children who understand how to be gentle and respectful with her. What makes Pookie special isn't simply that she has three legs. It's everything she does with them. She plays. She follows you around. She climbs into your lap. She purrs the second you pick her up. And after everything this tiny girl experienced at the very beginning of her life, she remains remarkably trusting, gentle, and full of love. Pookie doesn't need anyone to feel sorry for her. She just needs someone to fall in love with her. Born 04/27/2026 At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house. This kitten has not been spayed yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for spay later.
