Bonnie the Beautiful! Yes, this stunning puppy is now available for adoption. Bonnie can be wary of new people, so we are currently working on socializing her and she is rocking it at her training classes. She has done well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She is crate trained and almost fully potty trained. We would love for Bonnie to go to a home with a family interested in continuing her training and being patient with her around new people. She absolteuly loves to play tug - that's her love language! Bonnie is excellent on the leash and is such a sweet, special puppy. She is fostered in San Francisco. California Pit bull Rescue is an official 501(c)(3) and requires an adoption application and $200 donation fee for all adoptions.May 20, 2025, 8:05 pm

Story
Remy is a tender soul with a heart as big as her sweet, expressive ears. This beautiful Bull Terrier mix has lived through heartbreak no dog should ever know, rescued from an abusive past that would have dimmed the light in anyone’s eyes. But not Remy. Her spirit still shines—soft, resilient, and full of hope. Despite it all, Remy hasn’t given up on people. She craves connection and leans in for affection, soaking up every gentle touch like it’s the first kindness she’s ever known. Her loving nature is undeniable—she wants nothing more than to be by your side, quietly reminding you that love heals all things. Remy is also dog-friendly and would thrive with another calm, canine companion to help her continue blossoming. She knows a few basic commands and is eager to learn, especially when encouraged with patience and praise. Every day, she shows us how brave and trusting she is—ready to start fresh, one paw at a time. Now, Remy is searching for a forever home filled with kindness, safety, and the steady warmth of love she’s always deserved. If you have space in your heart and home for a dog who will love you with everything she has, Remy is waiting with open paws to meet you.

Story
Meet Charlotte! This adorable female Cane Corso puppy is on the lookout for her forever family. She`s an inquisitive young lady who enjoys exploring the world around her and soaking in all the new sights and smells. Charlotte likes people and their attention, though she prefers to engage on her own terms. This energetic pup can get a little frustrated on leash and might show this by pulling in the opposite direction. With consistent and positive reinforcement training, she`ll learn to enjoy her walks by your side.Charlotte is still learning to be completely comfortable with handling. When she feels uneasy, she might show it by lip licking, trying to create space, and sometimes using her mouth inappropriately. With patience and gentle guidance, she`ll learn that handling can be a positive experience. It`s important to note that Charlotte has shown some guarding behavior around her food bowl, becoming very focused and intense during mealtimes. She has also displayed some guarding tendencies with high-value items, resisting when asked to give them up and becoming a bit snatchy when they are returned.Due to her sensitivities around food and high-value items, Charlotte would thrive best in a home with teenagers and up who can understand and respect her boundaries and work with her using positive reinforcement techniques to address these behaviors. If you`re an experienced dog owner who is ready for the joys and responsibilities of raising a Cane Corso puppy and can provide Charlotte with the consistent training, patience, and understanding she needs, she has the potential to be a loyal and loving companion. Could you be the perfect match for this promising young girl?

Story
Vida is a stunning 2-year-old Cane Corso with a sleek black coat and soulful eyes that reflect both resilience and hope. Petite for her breed at around 65 pounds, Vida is a calm and steady presence who’s come a long way since being found abandoned in the country, covered in fleas and ticks. Despite her rough start, she’s shown nothing but grace and quiet strength. With her cropped ears and regal appearance, Vida turns heads wherever she goes but it’s her sweet, affectionate nature that truly sets her apart. She adores her toys, cherishes time with her humans, and walks good on leash, making her an ideal companion for someone looking for a loyal shadow and steady sidekick. Vida is dog-neutral and polite around other canines, but she’ll thrive best in a home with breed experience and without small animals or small children. She’s looking for a calm, structured environment where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. If you’re ready to offer this special girl the life she deserves, Vida is ready to meet you. Let her show you just how big a Cane Corso’s heart can be

Story
What can we say about our sweet, handsome Tiki Boy? SO MUCH! We’ve had this dapper 1.5-year-old Cane Corso/Lab mix in rescue for about three months now and he is barely recognizable from the dog we saved from the euthanasia list. Tiki was dumped at the shelter, and we don’t think he ever knew life outside of a backyard or that humans could be kind before we took him in. When we met Tiki, he avoided eye contact and human touch, wouldn’t hold his head up, and was scared of every little thing (even the wind). While in foster, he’s been exploring the world and gaining confidence each day, and, most importantly, learning what it means to have the safety and love that he deserves. He has truly blossomed and is showing us more and more each day that he is a super silly and affectionate giant puppy dog. Tiki is best friends with his 130-pound mastiff foster sister and would love a home with another doggy friend to play with! He is respectful and kind with his foster cat sibling too! He is gentle and sweet with his six-year old human foster sister as well, and we think he’d do excellently in a home with older kids. This pup is an active boy and a guardian breed who needs an owner who is committed to meeting his exercise needs (he’s a great running/biking partner!), continuing his socialization, and respecting his boundaries. These dogs may be slow to warm up, but they are incredibly loyal and protective of their pack, and the love they give is truly something special once you have it! Tiki is waiting patiently for his forever family at his foster home in Sacramento and he would love to meet you to see if it’s a match.

These pups are in Richmond, California too!

Story
Meet Cookie! Weighing around 75 pounds, Cookie is a total goofy sweetheart who loves people. Cookie is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. Cookie can be selective with other dogs, especially while on leash, but does great with a proper introduction. Cookie knows all kinds of commands, is housebroken, and is very food motivated. Due to her size, she would likely do best in a home without small children (although dog-savvy children 10+ would be okay). She has a lot of energy, and would love to be a part of life's adventures with you!
