At 2 years old, Nala has spent nearly a year at Almost Home and has recently transitioned to a foster home with her brother, Blue. She is progressing well with housebreaking and obedience training, is crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night in her crate. Nala enjoys playing with Blue, chewing on bones, and snuggling on the couch. While she can be timid around new experiences, people, and sounds—especially her nemesis, the vacuum—she will warm up to you given time. Once you earn her trust, she will be a devoted companion for life. Kilo & Teddy Father and Son URGENT Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY area Meet Kilo and Teddy. Kilo is a 4-yr old male Cane Corso and his son Teddy is a 2-yr old male Cane Corso mix. Tragically, the only owner they’ve ever known passed away suddenly and the owner’s family is unable to look after them for much longer. They need a new home desperately. Teddy has already been surrendered to the NYC ACC; his dad, Kilo is being surrendered shortly. We are trying to help these dogs. If nobody steps up, they will both be in an overcrowded shelter where their fate is uncertain ☹ Haven’t they lost enough already? Kilo tolerates other dogs but actively avoids felines. He is very active and can be quite playful. Kilo isn’t a big fan of bikes or skateboards but loves a nice, long walk. Teddy is friendly, outgoing and affectionate once he feels comfortable. He is sociable and playful with familiar dogs but tends to chase felines. He loves riding in cars, chasing balls, and chomping on bones. Teddy is smart; he knows his basic commands. He is very sweet.
