We rescued Felix from a neglectful owner in 2022. He is a very sweet and loving boy. Good on a leash and knows commands and listens well most of the time. He is very curious and will get into the kitchen trash if able.He is trained to guard the home but will not attack unless directed to do so, or if his person/people are being directly harmed. Otherwise he just barks until instructed.Unfortunately our living situation changed suddenly. We now have much less space than previously and our other dog that we have had since he was a puppy does not get along consistently with Felix in such close quarters. Felix has never been agressive.Felix has never had an issue with any other dog. He is good with cats.Felix needs a home with love, patience, and someone to work/play with him. Though he does love to lay/sit next to you and snuggle.He is overall a wonderful dog and we wish we could continue to keep him. He needs the forever home we intended to provide before our lives turned upside down.

We got Huey when he was about a year old. He is trained to sit lay down and stay either by verbal or hand commands. He is very active and loving. A bit cautious at first but given a liver treat and he is your friend for life. Loves to run and play catch. He will even play by himself by throwing a toy up and catching it. He was approached by two dogs over a month ago and I ask the owner of the dogs to get the dogs and he wouldn’t. Huey and the dogs started fighting and the landlord gave me 30 days to rehome him or he won’t renew the lease

She's needing a new home where she's not having to be crated most all the time due to work. We've got her vetting done now and she's ready. She loves people and is very friendly with them. She was also good with the dog we brought to do her dog-to-dog evaluation. She's lived with other dogs and cat. The dogs were very tiny and she's a big girl so she didn't engage with them much so there wouldn't be any accidental injury to the littles. Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . It breaks my heart that I have to find a new home for my sweet boy, but with my sister being pregnant, I have to do what’s best for my family. He’s a really sweet dog who deserves so much love, attention, and patience. He just needs someone who has more time for him, can work with him on training, and can give him the attention he deserves. This isn’t an easy decision for me because I care about him so much, and I want to make sure he goes to a loving home where he’ll be cared for, understood, and treated like family. ❤️

Tonka is a 100+ teddy bear that would love to be your go everywhere companion. That unfortunately we just not have the time to give him the attention he deserves. He is always up for playing with anyone or anything. He loves others dogs to the extent that ever dog he passes by he feels the need to stop and play. He will need a fully fenced yard, and some manners training, but he is a quick learner if you are consistent and have the time to work with him. He is currently eating 6 cups of food a day. The fee is negotiable for the right home.
