Story
Jason (formerly Soli, affectionately known as Mr. Wigglebutt ) is a stunning brindle Cane Corso mix with a heart as big as his paws. After escaping the euthanasia list in Modesto, Jason made his way to Washington and is now ready to find the forever family he’s always deserved. Jason is incredibly people-loving and thrives on human connection — especially when treats are involved! He greets everyone with his signature cropped-tail wiggle and goofy charm. He’s a confident, social boy who does well with other dogs and responds appropriately to canine cues. At approximately 90 lbs and still filling out, Jason is a true XL companion with energy to match. He sleeps quietly in his kennel overnight, is doing well with both house and leash training, and loves tagging along for car rides and outings. Jason is also great with kids, but due to his size and occasional lack of awareness of just how big he is, he would do best with dog-savvy, respectful children. Ideal Home:Jason would thrive in an active home that will continue his training and provide structure. He would do best either as the only dog or with a female canine companion who matches his energy and play style. A feline-free home is required. Jason at a glance: Male Cane Corso mix Approx. 1.5 years old ~90+ lbs and growing Healthy & up to date on vaccines Neuter appointment pending Dog-friendly (best with a female dog or as the only pet) Good with kids (dog-aware kids recommended) No cats Jason is a big, affectionate goofball who’s ready to give his whole heart to the right family — could that be you? Jason is being fostered in the PNW area Jason's adoption fee is $500 www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2566303##

Commander is all about being close to you—snuggling up or even sharing your pillow, if you’ll let him! He is a big guy, though, and sometimes he forgets just how big he is, so get ready for lots of love. On walks, Commander likes to take his time, sniffing everything and making sure everyone knows he has been there. Tug toys are his absolute favorite, and he loves a good game!

Story
Hi! My name is Flower and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good Samaritan on 02/2026.I weigh 60 lbs and am considered a large breed dog.I am a very smart dog! At the shelter I am practicing how to `sit`, `stay`, `come`, `down` and `shake`.Once I get to know you I am an affectionate lovebug who would be thrilled to cuddle up with you at home!My caregivers have noticed that I seem to do well with other large dogs. When meeting dogs in a new home, I would do best with a slow introduction.I`m a Playgroup Pal! Ask the staff today about my interactions with other dogs at the shelter in our Playgroups. I have played with Blue!! Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home.I would do best in a home with older children.I will need to find a home where someone is available for me in these early days. It is important to be consistent with me and socialize me so I can have the best companionship with people and other animals. I require patience because everything is brand new so I will need some TLC while I learn. If you and your family are ready to fall in love my awesome self, please check me out!!I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!

Story
Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
