Looking for a temp foster: Dec 11-21 Meet Jason (formerly Soli — affectionately known as Mr. Wigglebutt ) This stunning brindle Cane Corso mix escaped the euthanasia list in Modesto and hasn’t looked back. Now settling into Washington life, Jason is ready to find his forever family! Jason LOVES people (especially the ones with snacks ) and will greet you with his signature adorable wiggle from his cropped tail. He’s social with other dogs and is respectful when they give him cues. At about 85–90 lbs and still filling out, he’s a true XL lovebug with the energy to match! He sleeps quietly in his kennel, is progressing nicely with house and leash training, and is always down for an adventure — especially car rides. Ideal Home:Jason would thrive with an active family committed to continuing training and structure. He does well with other dogs, but no cats for this big guy. Jason is also great with kids — he genuinely enjoys being around them — but due to his size and occasional “oops-I-forgot-I’m-a-moose” energy, we recommend kids who are dog-savvy and aware of big-dog boundaries. They were born on 8/29/25 & are mixes of cane corso and pit bull. We are working on potty training. They are great with kids and my older dogs are teaching them how to socialize with other dogs. I have taken them to the vet for their initial shots, flea and deworming treatments.

Welcome Jacks to CCPAL Rescue. Jacks is an 11-month-old Cane Corso/Australian Heeler. He is very affectionate, knows sit, loves water and can open a fence latch. He is a smart boy. He really is attentive and has had a wonderful foster before entering the shelter. He is wonderful at sitting when you ask him to sit. A carabiner is adequate to block him from flipping the latch of the gate open. This is what we use to secure the gate of his kennel. We don’t think he is the type that wants to run away. He is smart and bored in his kennel is all. He is a great dog and we think he would be a great hiker, walker and companion dog for an outdoor enthusiast. He loves all people and doesn’t seem at all bothered by strangers. He is friendly to everyone. He would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 and older due to his size. He weighs about 60 pounds and looks to be a good weight. He has a beautiful blocky head and with the harness on he was relatively easy to walk. We are looking for a moderately active family for this dog. We think he is very handsome and is going to appeal to men because of his beautiful head and athletic build. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get this gorgeous dog to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the east Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. .
