Story
Welcome Bob to CCPAL Rescue. He is a 5.5 year old Cane Corso/Mastiff mixed dog. He is about 70 pounds and he is very sweet. He is now ready for his forever home. He is an adorable bubble blower and he had the most adorable drool on the video. If you love the Mastiff breed then you know they drool. It is a part of their charm. He will be a loyal boy and he is lower on the energy scale. He was extremely happy to be walking her at the rescue. We have been spending lots of time getting all the adult dogs good on leash. He has a lower coat and not a huge shedding dog. He would be great for an older couple looking for a large and lower energy companion. He would also be good for a family where the man works out of town and he wants to know his kids and wife feel safe with a dog watching the scene. He is healthy and getting vaccines. He is neutered and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is $300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See his cute video!!

Story
Animal Profile: Pebbles is an approximately 2-year-old, 65 lb female bully breed mix -- we think Cane Corso and/or Boxer.  She has a docked or bob tail and has recovered from cherry eye surgery.  She was friendly with people and dogs during her shelter evaluation.  Foster Update: I'm pretty sure Pebbles is a Bully/Boxer mix as she definitely has the personality to match!  She is very playful and energetic, loves toys and romping around like a goofball so her ideal home would include a yard. She does very well in her crate when it's time to quiet down, is quiet all night and does well for up to 7 hours while I am away. She is a shy and unsure with new people but once she is given some time to build trust she is very affectionate and loves to get pets and scratches. We have been spending the most time currently on leash training as she is big and very strong. She is food motivated, so smart and learns very quickly.  Training Update: Pebbles is thriving with formal training -- she has learned loose leash walking, place, recall basics, and not jumping up. She is working on her confidence with new people and in public. She is shy but tolerant with new people, and tolerant of dogs and cats. She would be well matched with a more quiet household and patient owners who are willing to work on building trust but won't coddle her entirely.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Includes Take Home Training Session Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog came into the San Bernardino animal shelter as a stray and was listed for euthanasia due to space and cherry eye.  She arrives in Seattle on 11/12 and will will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.  March 27, 2024, 12:20 pm

Story
This big guy is the most loving and loyal dog you will ever meet. Full of energy and strength, he lives with cats, children, adults and female dogs. He was abandoned by his previous family because of his size, and little by little he was integrating to the rescue, coming every day for his food, taking care of us and always waiting for us when we arrived home, until we decided to give him a space inside, gave him his first bath and started with medication for erlichia and his vaccination. He is now ready for his new home, he sits and waits for his food, is leash friendly and would be ideal for a family with active children to play with him. He tends to stand on his two hind legs to get on you, drools when waiting for his food and prefers the company of people for comfort. He likes to sleep in a large dog bed, his daily walks and a treat a day to keep him happy. He is about 5 years old and 61 pounds, but still acts like a puppy at times, loves chews, treats, running around, interacting with cats and new people. The $550.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to Oregon or Washington. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash.
