Story
Allow me to introduce you to the one and only Belen! This furry little angel is not just your average rescue dog, oh no! She is the ultimate social butterfly, fluttering around with the grace of a delicate butterfly. Her days are filled with an insatiable desire to play and hang out with her foster sisters, making her the life of the party. And let me tell you, she's not just a dog lover, but a cat lover too! Belen's journey began on a gloomy, rainy day in the streets of Houston. She was lost and alone, but fate had a different plan for her. Once she found her way to safety, it didn't take long for her to decompress and reveal her true colors. Her beautiful, loving personality shone through like a ray of sunshine. This little superstar is definitely a team player and thrives in a home with another furry friend by her side. She's got all the manners down - housebroken, leash and crate trained like a pro! It's like she's been taking lessons from the best canine instructors out there. Now, here's the exciting part! We have special transports leaving Houston every two weeks, heading towards the picturesque Pacific Northwest with a delightful pit stop in Bellingham, Washington . This means our lovely Canadian residents can make the trip and pick up Belen, giving her the forever home she deserves. How amazing is that? If you're interested in learning more about Belen or want to submit an adoption application, fear not! Simply visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org . We've got all the information you need right at your fingertips. So don't keep this precious gem waiting, take a leap of faith and give Belen the loving home she's been dreaming of! received.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts. Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. ##1952068##

Story
Animal Profile: Olivia is an estimated 2-year-old, 54 lb spayed female shepherd mix (she sure looks like a Carolina dog!) who was shy and fearful at the shelter but quickly opened up with dogs in the play yard and became affectionate and attention-seeking with volunteers. She passed her temperament tests with multiple dogs and is now in foster care in the PNW. Foster Update: Olivia is settling in well to her foster home! She can be shy when first meeting people but once she gets to know you she will greet you enthusiastically. Olivia is house-trained and has been doing very well with crate training. She sleeps through the night and does well when I am out of the house. She is eager to learn, especially when there is food involved. Olivia has a fair amount of energy and would love to find her forever home with someone who will help her burn her energy. She enjoys chewing on toys and bones in her foster home. She gets along with other dogs and loves to play. She is learning basic manners and will need continued training. She does well in the car and enjoys going on adventures and running around in the yard or on a long line! She would love to be your adventure buddy!   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from Caddo Parish animal shelter in Shreveport Louisiana and arriving to Seattle via Tail Lights Rescue Project on March 4, 2024. This dog will be available for adoption to the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.May 14, 2024, 4:28 pm

Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Finn from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 1year old male Shiba Inu- Corgi mix.  I weigh approximately 16 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,595 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us   We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application.
