Story
Hay Dude Equine Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Texas. All of our dogs live in foster homes in TX and are transported to their new states once adopted. All adopters must be 21+. Applications can be found at haydudeequine.org. 🐾 Meet Milo! 💛 Hi, I'm **Milo**, an 8-month-old, 45-pound Husky mix, and I'm here to tell you that I am **just a genuinely good boy.** I have a fun, playful puppy side, but I also have something pretty special for a young dog: an **amazing off switch!** When it's time to play, I'm ready to go. When it's time to relax, I'm perfectly happy to settle down and hang out with my people. Basically, I'm the best of both worlds! My story is a little sad, but it has a very happy ending. I was found wandering along a highway late one night. Two other dogs had tragically been hit by cars—likely my companions—and I was staying close to them, desperately trying to avoid the traffic. Thankfully, traffic was light that night. When my rescuer pulled over and called to me, I walked right up without hesitation. I let them put a leash on me and even picked me up and put me in the car. **From the very first second we met, I showed everyone what a sweet, trusting boy I am.** ❤️ And my personality? Well, I am pretty much everyone's dream dog! I'm **wonderful with babies, kids, dogs, and cats.** I may occasionally try to convince a cat that it would be fun to play with me, but I'm not aggressive at all. If the cat gives me a hiss or a swat, I immediately understand the assignment and politely back away. 😂 I'm also **exceptionally quiet** and rarely bark. I'm incredibly easygoing and adaptable, so I could fit into just about any home. A calm household where we go for walks and have some daily playtime would make me happy. But if your home is busy and lively with kids, dogs, and lots of activity, **I'm totally down for that too!** As long as I'm with my people, I'm a happy guy. When I'm not busy being adorable, you'll probably find me playing with my **stuffed plush toys**. My current favorite is a BIG stuffed yellow duck. 🐥 And if you really want to make me happy, rub my face! I absolutely love it and will gently lick your hands while you give me my favorite face rubs. 🥹 I'm young, healthy, happy, friendly, quiet, great with everyone, and have a fantastic ability to settle when the fun is over. After everything I went through, I think I deserve a family who will show me just how wonderful life can be. **If you're looking for a truly good boy who can be your adventure buddy, your playmate, AND your professional couch companion, I might just be your guy.** 💛🐾

Story
The first thing you should know about Monkey is that he is not actually a dog. He is, in fact, a tiny monkey disguised as a dog. We realize this sounds unlikely, but we have evidence. For example, Monkey firmly believes that every day should include a little bit of everything: playing, exploring, sunbathing, cuddling, running around for no apparent reason, and then taking a well-deserved nap. This is a very sophisticated lifestyle that he has perfected over time.Monkey is an expert in the art of relaxation. He enjoys stretching out in warm patches of sunshine and supervising household activities from the comfort of the couch. However, do not be fooled by this peaceful appearance. At any moment, he may suddenly remember that he is young and full of joy, at which point he will launch into a spontaneous zoomie session around the house or yard.Additional observations of Monkey in his natural habitat, along with photos and video evidence, can be found here:https://hope4lapawz.org/wp1/monkey-2025076d/He loves other dogs, enjoys walks, and is happiest when he has people nearby to share life with. In fact, Monkey believes companionship is one of life’s greatest inventions.Like many great adventurers, Monkey has faced a few challenges along the way. Last year he suffered a leg injury that required surgery. The good news is that he has recovered beautifully and is now ready for the next chapter of his life: finding a family who will appreciate his unique combination of silliness, loyalty, affection, and excellent couch-sharing skills.Monkey is kennel trained, loving, and endlessly entertaining. All he needs now is a forever home where he can continue his important work of spreading happiness, one zoomie at a time. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Story
Hi, I am Apolo! I am a playful, happy, and very friendly young dog. I love going for walks, playing with other dogs, and getting pets from every human I meet. I was abandoned at the door of an Oxxo in San Pedro, injured and alone. Thankfully, I was rescued and finally given the care I needed.I am an active pup with lots of energy and a wonderful temperament. I am sweet, social, and I love being part of the action. My ideal home has other dogs, a person who enjoys exercise, and a family full of love. I should not live with cats, and I would not do well with someone who is not active.I am ready to bring joy, playfulness, and affection into my forever home. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Story
Meet Victoria Victoria is a 4-month-old puppy (DOB: 10/21/25). We think she may have a little sharpei and Carolina Dog in her. She has a beautiful golden-tan coat, soulful eyes, and an adorable curly tail that gives her so much personality. She’s a sweet and curious girl who loves exploring the outdoors and staying close to her people. For such a young pup, Victoria is already doing amazing — she is potty trained and doggy-door trained, which will make her transition into a new home much easier. She’s a smart little girl who learns quickly and loves to please. Victoria enjoys playtime, sniffing around outside, and relaxing near her humans after a fun day of puppy adventures. She would thrive in a loving home that can continue helping her grow with patience, guidance, and lots of affection. With her playful spirit, sweet nature, and that cute curly tail that never stops wagging, Victoria is ready to find the forever family she deserves. If you’re looking for a loving, smart puppy who already has a great start in life, Victoria might be the perfect addition to your family. Victoria is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and healthy.
