Meet Lavender – Sweet, Spunky, and Full of Life! At just 8 months old and 22 pounds, Lavender is a high-energy, fun-loving pup with a gentle heart and a goofy streak. She’s the kind of dog who will chase after a sprinkler stream with pure joy, then snuggle up like a total couch potato when it’s time to relax.Lavender is wonderful with kids of all ages and gets along beautifully with dogs big and small. She thrives in an active home where she can enjoy walks, hikes, dog parks, and all kinds of outdoor fun. Curious and playful, she’s starting to show interest in water play—especially if it involves a hose or sprinkler!This smart girl is already nailing her training—potty, crate, leash, and basic commands like sit, stay, and come. While she’s not super into kibble, the right treat will definitely get her attention!Lavender is a great match for first-time dog owners who love to be on the move but also appreciate a snuggly sidekick when the day winds down. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
