Story
Cyndaquil is a seven month old silky-smooth, unneutered male. He is the pick of the litter from a loving home in Clearlake, CA. My son brought him home over the summer and we feel that it is not fair to him to be cooped up in our tiny apartment. This athletic little guy needs a place where he can roam free outdoors, chasing birds and climbing trees. Maybe the option to be indoor/ outdoor? He is an absolute sweety, too. Very affectionate and a good companion. Great lap warmer who loves toys, treats and tuna fish. Must rehome soon or pay excessive pet deposit. Hurry! He won't last!

Story
Telly is a delight to live with 100% of the time. There's never a dull moment with Telly around! As a curious bottle baby with a can-do attitude and athletic body, Telly is pretty sure the "rules" don't apply to her. She eagerly explores the table tops and highest bookshelves like they were put there for her. Telly purrs readily, plays happily, and is very gentle. This petite calico makes amazing biscuits and is great company. You may have seen her on WCAL's social media! She loves her humans and is an amazing young cat. We're looking for an adopter who won't mind providing Telly with a special diet and attentive care.Found all alone in Napa, Telly came to WCAL from an AT&T maintenance yard as an itty bitty baby who needed to be bottle-fed. We had some trouble weaning this kitty from a bottle onto canned food because she wasn't able to keep solids down at first. Working closely with our vet, we determined it was likely a food allergy causing occasional vomiting and indolent ulcers (also called eosinophilic granulomas). Telly eats a special diet of hydrolyzed protein kibbles, which is working well to keep her sensitive and adorable little body happy. She occasionally needs a round of prednisone if she has a flare-up (it's a low-cost medication WCAL doesn't mind helping with). The most common reason for sores or similar issues in special kitties like Telly is a food allergy or possibly stress in their home or even a flea allergy. If you would enjoy sharing your home with an outspoken calico princess and understand that Telly needs to continue this special diet to keep her feeling her best, then we have the loving, athletic kitten for you! This kitten is one of those extra special babies - the ones our volunteers have bottle-raised. Kittens raised by humans are extra comfortable around people and love attention. Since they didn't have the opportunity to be raised by a mama cat, they have zero street smarts and we are looking for a family who is committed to keeping them indoorsonlyfor life. Story
Don’t let the stripes fool you—this Tiger is all heart! Sweet, slightly sassy, and fiercely loyal, there is no question that she is Queen of the (concrete) jungle. Even though she’s wild at heart, these days she prefers to hunt for sunny nap spots or extra cuddles. She adores her cat tree kingdom, surveying her domain through the window, and purring loudly when you scratch behind her ears. Tiger can happily live with feline friends who respect her space. If you are ready to welcome this regal huntress into your home, adopt Tiger today!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Much like his namesake from West Egg, Gatsby is charming, well-spoken, and distinguished. A huskier gentleman, he offers the warmth and affection of a lifelong friend. His signature croaky meow steals the scene every time, and this hopeless romantic wants nothing more than to snuggle up with you! In his roaring 20’s, Gatsby is a seasoned soul with stories in his eyes and love in his heart. He’s FeLV positive, but like the true icon he is, he’s lived life on his own terms—gracefully, joyfully, and without missing a beat. He’s not chasing green lights—he’s chasing cozy moments and the simple pleasure of your company. So if you’re looking for a cat with timeless charm and a heart full of devotion, look no further than Gatsby. He’s not just good, he’s great!

Story
I may only have three legs, but that doesn’t stop me from hopping over to soak up all the attention I can get! Hello, I’m Theodore, and my love language is physical touch. I enjoy gentle pets, soft voices, and cozy spots to curl up in. Need someone to listen? My crinkly ears are perked up, ready to dish. I’ve been told that I have a calming presence, and I always enjoy a cuddle. Don’t be surprised if I ask for attention, with a gentle paw boop or head butt. If you’re searching for a gentle soul with devastatingly good looks, you’ve found me!
