Who has the best purr, a beautiful stripey coat, and a heart full of love? Emmet Otterton does! This sweet-as-can-be boy has been through so much and he is finally ready to find his forever home. Emmet came to us after his owner passed away and he had been left to fend for his own all alone on the property. He was a bit underweight, scared, and very sad, but with love, care, and lots and lots of petting, Emmet recovered here at Forgotten Felines before settling into a wonderful foster home. His favorite thing in life is being loved on. Emmet absolutely LIVES to be cuddled with, and he will smoosh his face onto your face for a slightly-drooly kiss. He also has the most adorable meow that he uses to strike up pleasant conversation with his people. His perfect home would be one without young children or rowdy dogs. Emmet would likely do well with another calm and friendly kitty friend, older kids or adults, and a quiet home where he never needs to worry about being neglected again. Let me tell you something about Tree Frog- this man is a 100%, certified, notarized, and official Good Boy. He is just about as perfect as can be, and no one can convince me otherwise. Tree Frog came to Forgotten Felines with a pretty funky little walk, and we discovered that he at some point in time had broken his pelvis! Thankfully, being the best boy ever, Tree Frog was already on the road to recovery and all that he needed was 8 weeks of cage-rest. Tree Frog spent those 8 weeks in a very comfy cage in his foster home, watching bird videos and getting endlessly spoiled, and now he is ready to find his forever home! Tree Frog is looking for a forever home where he could have people who want nothing more than to give him all of the attention he deserves. He LOVES cuddles- you will absolutely fall in love with his gentle demeanor and his top-notch biscuit making skills. Tree Frog has gotten along very well with other kitties and would potentially do well with another friendly feline companion in his forever home. And he has not had much experience with children, but we think he would enjoy living with older kids who are gentle and cat-savvy. And just a short week later, a tiny kitten who needed some friends came along, and Kismet joined the group, acting as if he had always belonged there. Iggy continues to rule his sisters, but when Kismet joins in, Iggy lets him be boss, because he loves Kismet and always makes sure he is included in the fun. This sweet young guy can purr up a storm, and loves to give his fosters lots of kisses- Iggy really is a friendly, lovable guy. Cher is cautious with humans at first, but when you win her over, she makes you feel like a million bucks. Like her sisters, she has a very strong, consistent purr when she is content. Though she is still figuring it out, she does actually like to be held and pet, and she is pretty darn good at snuggling. Cher loves to stick her paws in her water bowl and lick the water off of them. Hey, as long as you get it done, right?! She also likes to hide under blankets and towels and then surprise her sisters from these sneaky hiding spots. While she looks all black from a distance, up close she has a bunch of cute tiny patches of white fur. Loud and rambunctious children are definitely not her jam, so a home with adults only or maybe some nice cat-savvy teens would be ideal. And she absolutely adores her sisters, so we think she would do best in a home with another kitty friend (you could even adopt one of her sisters too if you're looking for a pair!) First of all, this tortie girl is *stunning*- such a gorgeous kitten. There is a perfect line down the center of her face dividing up her colors. Florence has big, sweet, soulful eyes, and a very chill, laidback energy. She loves to sleep on her back with her paws up in the air, tummy exposed. When she stretches out her long paws and yawns, it's about the cutest thing I've seen. Florence is a real sucker for the spring toys, and wands everywhere should watch out, too. She loves to nap with her human and sleep on your chest, purr revved up full blast. When she's not in play mode, Florence moves at a pretty lowkey pace, just soaking up her surroundings and checking things out. She's a little unsure of new people at first, but melts like butter with a little TLC. Loud and rambunctious children are definitely not her jam, so a home with adults only or maybe some nice cat-savvy teens would be ideal.
