Story
Romulus is a handsome, 7 year old neutered orange and white cat. We originally got Romulus as a kitten to be a barn cat on our small hobby farm. He came from a nearby farm where his mama had delivered her kittens inside a barn. He eventually made his way indoors because he loves a warm lap and snuggling by the fireplace. Turns out he’s a terrible mouser! He does love to go outside to roll in the dirt and climb trees. We love him dearly, but he does not get along with our indoor cat, which has led to behavioral issues (spraying). This only became an issue when he began to interact with our indoor male cat. He has a fun and quirky personality, and we want him to go somewhere where he’ll be loved as much as we have loved him, but he needs to be the only cat in the home.

Story
Hello! I am Midnight! I am a working cat looking for my new home. I am a busy cat who has lived the outdoor life before, and I need my freedom to be my happiest self. I’m excited to return to that same lifestyle in your barn, garage, workshop, or other outdoor building! Although I have shown that I am socialized with people and will probably become friendly with you and visitors, I’m a working cat at heart - not a companion cat - and need to have my space and freedom for adventure. If you have a rodent problem, we have your solution - adopt one of our working cats today! All of our working cats come altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and ready to work.Working cats are mousers that need to live outside of city limits in a barn or outdoor building. All they require are two square meals a day, fresh water and future veterinary care. Due to their behavior, these cats are not suited for normal adoption as indoor pets. However, their love for the outdoors, need for a job and thirst for adventure will ensure your barn or shed will stay pest free for years to come!

Hello! I am Ashley! I am a working cat looking for my new home. I am a shy, undersocialized cat who has lived the outdoor life before, and I need my privacy and freedom. I’m happy to return to that same lifestyle in your barn, storage shed, or other outdoor building. After I’m adjusted when you take me home, I may become a bit braver around you, but I’m still a working cat at heart - not a companion cat.If you have a rodent problem, we have your solution - adopt one of our working cats today! Story
Hello! I am Pickle! I am a sweet but shy kitty looking for my new home. I do not like being picked up and carried so I need to have a home without children under 12. Even though I am shy I know that with the right family I can become the confident cat I know I can be! I look forward to meeting you! This cat tested positive for FIV. FIV-positive cats do not inherently have a shorter lifespan; studies show they can often live as long as uninfected cats. While the virus weakens a cat`s immune system, making it more vulnerable to secondary infections, proper care—including a good diet, regular vet check-ups, and a low-stress, indoor-only environment—allows many FIV-positive cats to have a normal, healthy life.
