Story
My wife and I adopted Millie 7 years ago when she was just a few months old. She has been a wonderful pet. We had twin daughters 18 months ago. The two toddlers seem to be too much for Millie to handle. She has scratched them on a number of occasions. It is usually when they are grabbing at her tail or face. We have tried to keep her separate from the girls, but with twins it is extra hard to do. We hate to have to re-home Millie, but we think it is probably best for her and our girls.

Story
FROM PREVIOUS RESCUE: Tiara was part of a 4 kitten litter who were surrendered because they were all extremely sick and the owner couldn’t afford vet fees.  It took quite a while and a lot of medicating and syringe feeding to get them healthy and growing. Tiara is a little shy with strangers, but once she knows she is safe, she is sweet and affectionate.   UPDATE: Tiara settled into her foster home in Evergreen fairly well. She is truly shy at first meeting, still uncertain. Now she is at the EAPL Adoption Center at Chow Down.  Any adopter needs to be patient as she makes another transition into a new home. But she has made huge strides and enjoys being pet .  Complete a cat application at www.eapl.com - after approval to adopt, you can arrange a meet and greet. May 1, 2024, 8:56 pm

CONTACT THE OWNER, NOT EAPL:   Kathryn    baker.kathrynj@gmail.com Bio: Kevin and Stella are great, easy going, indoor cats. Sadly we have made the decision to find them a new home before we move to Europe. They did not enjoy our move from Maryland to Colorado by car and we are sure they would not handle a long flight. Finding a new loving home seems to be the best we can do for them. Kevin is 9 yrs old and is the big ginger one of the two and is a serious snuggler. He loves to hunt toy mice and is great at stealing the warm spots as soon as you get up from the couch. Stella is 6.5 years old and black; she is a little more shy and does not like to be held. She will snuggle next to you just not on top. She has a great talent for finding all the hidey holes and a kitten like personality when you play with her. They have done well when our young nephew (3) and niece (1) visit. Neither do well with dogs. Both are very affectionate once they get to know you. They are neutered, microchipped and have good health although are not up to date on shots. Rehome fee: One hundred and Sixty Dollars ($160) Health: Neutered, not up to date on shots, microchipped, healthy Rehoming: Ideally by the end of March May 1, 2024, 8:56 pm

Marvelous Miss Mabel! This confident lady is ready to be the center of attention in your home. Mabel isn't a fan of sharing her space with other cats, so HSBV is requiring she be the only feline in her next home.

Story
Meet Bruce, a sweet and playful cat kitty who has got quite the tale to tell. This spirited feline found his way to the shelter after a hilarious attempt to join a bird choir. Despite his best efforts to mimic their song, the feathered maestros were less than impressed. It seems Bruce's vocal talents are more suited to solo performances, hence his preference for a home without other cats or dogs. Don't let his lack of harmonizing skills deter you, though. Bruce's playful antics, sweet disposition, and undeniable charm make him the perfect companion. Adopt Bruce and let him serenade you with his solo purr-formances!
