Story
This is our cat Luna. She is 10 years old. We adopted her when she was 4 months old. We love her dearly and it is breaking our hearts to have to re-home her. But our vet has recommended for her quality of life to try to find a new home for her. We have been working with two different vets the last two years to try to manage her anxiety due to us having a baby and have not been successful. Luna is anxious, hides, hisses at the other cats and frequently does not use her littler box due to anxiety from us having a baby. Prior to having a child we had zero behavioral issues with her. After two years of testing, diet changes and lots of different medications, nothing has worked. Both vets recommend we find a home for her without other animals and without children. Luna loves to snuggle, be brushed and sit on your lap. She is super chatty and can often be found bathing in the sun in the window. Feather toys and crinkly balls are her favorites. She’s a wonderful cat who deserves to be happy.

Story
Bast is a beautiful girl who's been with us for over 2 years. She initially was feral and lived in the catio with a handful of other cats. She has now decided people aren't so bad and is friendly but would still do best in a house that respects her space, initially while she adjusts. She sleeps in the silliest positions and has a goofy personality. She has been exposed to other dogs and has been fine but slow introductions with dogs are still highly encouraged.

Story
Noodle Soup is a very nice girl. She, and her best friend Tortellini, have been waiting at the shelter upwards of 7 months for a home. They just now went to a foster home together! They have had numerous upper respiratory infections that have kept them from going to PetSmart but are doing very well now. Noodle Soup is an extrovert and would do well in most homes. These two need to be adopted together. Her adopter would need to be committed to providing her with an indoor only life although catio and harness walks are ok.This animal is in a foster home. If you would like to meet this animal, please go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application. Once the application is reviewed our adoptions coordinator will reach out to you.If you have other dogs in the home and are meeting a dog you must bring them for the meet and greet. If you rent, you must provide proof animals are allowed. When submitting your adoption application make sure to submit a good clear picture of your living room, kitchen, and yard.Filling out an adoption application does not mean you will be adopting the animal. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for that animal after screening and meeting applicants.

Story
Adela is a special girl. She has SO much love to give, but as they would say on the Great British Bake-off, she has a very soggy bottom. She has urinary incontinence and needs diapers and frequent baths. We think it's secondary to a congenital nerve issue related to Manx cats. She's been living at the shelter in the Catio for 3 years, but we know she deserves a home where she can receive all the love she deserves. Her adopter will need to take on financial responsibility as primary owner for Adela's ongoing urinary needs and issues.

Story
Champagne and Nougat do not make great first impressions. They were VERY scared and hissy when they first arrived. Now, they'll give a meager hiss with no intent behind it. They enjoy pets and attention and will even make biscuits as a thank-you. They are CRAZY playful and love catnip. They'll need a home who understands that they're not going to wow them on first impressions or run up to the front of the kennel for attention. They'll need time, patience, love and catnip.

Hi - My name is Edguardo! You can call me Ed, Eddie, CAT!, Sir, and Kit-ten. (I also will respond to Kitteh sometimes too. What can I say? I'm a cat.) I am a very sweet, talkative boy who is really good at Litter Box! ( I love my litter box.)You can pick me up and squeeeeze me for about 17.2 seconds - then I'll let you know I want to get down. A few seconds later I'll come back and let you smoosh my tennis ball head.If you give me spankies I'll get up on my back tippy toes and do a little cha-cha. I will sleep at the end of my foster lady's bed sometimes but I will not let her grab me and hold me like a teddy bear for snuggles; I will, however, let her trim my nails - now THAT'S a Good Boy!I've found a few perches around the house where I do Neighborhood Watch or just keep an eye on Foster Lady's stuff. My foster mom would really like to adopt me BUT the dog isn't super into it. We're fine together but it's not a love connection, and I get it - she was there first. I think we'd play together if we had more room but the foster pad is pretty small.I have met the next door cat - he's super cool and we'd totally hang except for he lives in 112 and I'm staying in 114 and neither of us has thumbs. If you'd like to adopt a medium sized, approx 1.5 year old, neutered male - I'm your guy! Fill out an ap at SoulDog.org and let's meet. This animal is in a foster home. If you would like to meet this animal, go to www.souldog.org to fill out an adoption application. When submitting your adoption application make sure to submit a good clear picture of your living room, kitchen, and yard. If you rent, you must provide proof animals are allowed. We will contact references. Once the application is reviewed our adoptions coordinator will send your information to the foster to set up a meet and greet. We ask that all members of the household come for a meet and greet to ensure there are no personality clashes. If you have other dogs in the home and are meeting a dog you must bring them for the meet and greet. Filling out an adoption application does not mean you will be adopting the animal. Doing a meet and greet with one of our animals does not guarantee you are adopting the animal. We will select the family we feel is the best choice for that animal after screening and meeting applicants.
