Story
🐾 Two Sweet Siblings! Biscuit and Gravy, a brother and sister duo! These white kittens with adorable tabby spots are bonded best friends who dream of finding a loving home where they can stay together. They have been vet checked, received their 1st vaccine, and tested negative for FeLuk/FIV/Hwt. We have a spay/neuter appt. for Jan. 16, and a voucher to use to keep the cost down to around $150 for both kittens. 🌸 Biscuit (Female) Is a gentle little lady. She is as soft, sweet and has the most delicate, soft paws that will knead their way right into your heart. She is full of playful kitten energy, chasing toys and exploring, but is just as happy to curl up for a quick snooze after a busy play session. 💙 Gravy (Male) is a little ball of sunshine! He is super friendly and a champion cuddler who absolutely wants to be with humans all the time. Both kittens are the perfect mix of social, playful and affectionate. 🐾 Once you see them you will understand why they deserve to be a pair.

Story
SPECIAL NEEDS: Pixie really needs to be adopted by a very experienced and alert human. She has Manx Syndrome and allergies. She must maintain a prescription diet and get medications twice a day to keep her colon active. She may occassionaly require manual manipulation of her gut to move her fecal matter.  Sweet Pixie was found by animal control and taken to a vet, as she was too little to go to the shelter. The vet called Feline Matchmakers and we took her in. She nursed on a mama cat that had a litter about her age and grew up with her adopted family in foster care. She is now a social, spunky little bundle of joy! All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Meet Tarzan — the ultimate tree-swinging, adventurous spirit! This feral guy was a challenge to catch, and he’s still a little wary of humans . Tarzan isn’t ready to trust people just yet, but he LOVES other cats and can tolerate calm dogs . Kids? Not his cup of tea — he prefers a peaceful, kitty-filled environment. Once you’ve earned a few minutes of his trust, he’ll tolerate gentle snuggles and may even purr . As soon as he’s ready, he’ll dash off like his tail’s on fire! Tarzan would thrive in a home with energetic feline friends to play and romp with — humans are optional for now. All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption. Story
Maria was part of a colony that was cleared in Castle Hayne, NC. She is very affectionate, sweet and playful. She originally tested positive for FeLV, but we have recently retested her for a negative result. This means she may have had it as a kitten, but her immune system fought it off and contained it to numbers that are no longer measurable. it is best in this situation to be prepared to retest every couple of years for a while. Her best friend, Ella is ;in the same position. Ideally they could be adopted together to a home with no other cats. Story
New Hanover County, NC animal control reached out to Feline Matchmakers with an SOS for Kricket. She was surrendered to the shelter by people who "couldn't afford" to keep her anymore. Unfortunatley for Kricket, this was a tragedy. She was completely freaked out in the small cage and could not be handled by staff. At a shelter, this only means one thing. So we jumped in and brought her in to our care. With a vet visit and some blood work, we found she had pancreatitus. We treated her and it made a world of difference in her attitude. All health issues have been resolved! Kricket was adopted in to a home with no other cats, her preference. She gave comfort and joy to an elderly lady (who recently passed away) and her caretaker daughter, but now the daughter can not keep Kricket for various reasons. Kricket is now available for adoption again. In order to reduce her stress, we have left her in the daughter's care and will hold meetings for Kricket in her "foster home." Kricket needs a nice, calm household, preferably with no other pets. If there are other pets, they need to be the kind that will ignore her and give her space. Kricket is a dominant female and won't take any smack from others. As an only cat, she is loving and chatty at times. She will require patience in adapting to a new home though; she's not instantly comfortable and will need a few weeks. We would prefer to have her in a Foster-To-Adopt situation for an approved applicant. All Feline Matchmakers cats get age appropriate vaccinations, fixed, tested and microchipped prior to adoption.
