Story
Erie is a 3.5–4-year-old longhair female indoor cat. She is healthy, affectionate, and absolutely loves cuddling, belly rubs, lounging in a sunny window, playing, and (of course) long naps. She has such a soft, gentle side and truly bonds with her people. She has shown that she becomes stressed sharing space with another cat, and we truly believe she would relax and flourish without that tension. There will be a $100 adoption fee, which covers her recent blood panel, rabies vaccine, and her rehoming essentials — her favorite things, along with food, her current litter, and litter box. We love her so much and this decision hasn’t been easy. Our biggest hope is that she finds a calm, loving home where she can truly flourish. We are looking for: • An indoor-only home • No other cats or dogs • Someone patient and loving who wants a loyal companion Thank you for your interest 🤍

Story
We adopted Crush 3 years ago from Longmont Humane Society. He is about 3.5 years old. Crush is a friendly and sweet orange kitty. He has his quirks and needs a lot of attention. He loves to be pet, play with springs, and be carried around. He is such a sweet boy and is great with humans. He is a vocal little guy, especially when playing with his springs. Unfortunately, he can be rough on furniture. He does not do well with other cats.

Story
Sunny is approximately 9 years old. He is a very sweet, very playful cat. He is social and loves to greet all visitors and get pet, but doesn't like being held. He will allow it, but it makes him nervous. He likes to go outside with his people on nice days, eat grass, and lay in the sun, all while wearing a harness. We are looking to rehome Sunny because he does not do well living with another cat (and probably any other kind of pet). We have tried for about 4 years numerous things but nothing has really solved the issue. I think he would do well with kids of any age, he has been around our child since their birth and has been careful around them and only yells for help when he has been cornered. Generally, he seems to be very careful about not hurting people - including avoiding accidentally nicking someone while playing with a toy.

Story
Meet Peaches — the Sweetest Sidekick Around Sweet, petite, and impossibly charming, beautiful Miss Peaches is the ultimate loyal companion. She’ll happily follow you from room to room, offering gentle trills and chirps as she supervises your daily adventures. One moment she’s checking in on you, the next she’s off to chase a stray bug or curl up for a cozy nap. With her playful sparkle and youthful energy, you’d never guess she’s 9 years old—she moves through life with the heart of a 1–3-year-old kitty. Though she’s experienced many changes—her littermate brother, her dog friend, and her human siblings have all moved on, and her former guardians now travel often—Peaches hasn’t lost her bright spirit. She bonded quickly with her foster mom and her big, gentle foster cat brother, soaking up the love and giving it right back. Peaches is a devoted communicator. She loves to cuddle, purr, play, eat, follow her people around, and gaze sweetly into their eyes before tucking herself into their arms. She’s a part-time under-the-covers sleeper, a part-time foot-of-the-bed snoozer, and a full-time cool kitty—after she gets her warm-up zoomies out with her favorite wand toys, of course. Peaches would thrive as a solo pet or in a home with a calm, respectful cat or a mellow dog. In fact, she seems to especially appreciate big, gentle dogs with steady, soothing energy—just like the canine buddy she lived with before. A home with a safe outdoor enclosure or supervised outdoor time would be a dream for her. With her stay-close personality, she’d likely be easy to monitor in a secure yard while you help create her little outdoor oasis. Would you like to meet this sweet gal? Peaches is waiting—ready to trill hello, curl into your lap, and share her endless, devoted love with her forever family. ##2434984##

Story
Meet Nova: a small but mighty kitten with a huge personality who’s ready to steal your heart. Nova is a brave little fighter with a heart full of love and a personality that shines brighter than her name. She has been through SO much! She was rescued after being found in the mouth of a raccoon. She didn’t have any puncture wounds but suffered a back injury. She has two tightly compressed discs, which caused complete paralysis of he back legs. She was originally unable to urinate on her own. She now has no issues going to the bathroom, but most of the paralysis remains. We had hoped for more significant movement to be regained, but there has only been a slight improvement. She was also riddled with parasites, causing serious tummy troubles. She has endured several rounds of different medicines and needed extra TLC—but she has blossomed into a thriving, playful, and affectionate kitten. At just over two and a half pounds, Nova is still catching up in size, but don’t let her tiny frame fool you—she’s bursting with energy and mischief. Nova loves to play “stealth mode,” sneaking around corners to surprise the older cats. She’s clever, adventurous, and always keeps her foster family smiling. She also learned to use ramps so she can climb up to the couch, where she happily burrows into soft blankets for naps. When it’s time to recharge, Nova retreats to her cozy Furhaven bed, but she also loves snuggles, car rides, and spending time with her foster family. Nova does have special needs. Due to her back injury, she likely won’t regain use of her back legs, and she will need to wear diapers for life. Her daily routine consists of bathing, powdering, and occasionally cream for her diapered areas (sometimes several times a day), physical therapy exercises, red light therapy, playtime, and lots of snuggles. She would also benefit greatly from kitten wheelchairs, upgraded as she grows, and the addition of acupuncture and electrostim. She doesn’t let any of this slow her down one bit; she climbs, zooms, and plays like any other kitten. She simply needs a forever family who is willing to continue the care routine she’s used to. Nova is healthy, happy, off all medications, and officially ready for her forever home. Her ideal family will understand her special needs and love her for the incredible, resilient, and sweet kitten she is. Could you be the one to give Nova the safe, loving home she’s been waiting for? You can find more pictures and videos of Nova on Instagram @skihousepets ##2511891##
